You’re right with the song similarities, some of Ayato’s voice lines have been shown already and he feels bad that the old Kamisato leaders couldn’t help the Kaedehara clan from decline so he feels a sense of duty when it comes to supporting Kazuha and stuff like that, especially because both of the clans were allies before (the Kaedehara clan branched off of the Kamisato’s while continuing to work with them)

I agree on the point that we cannot judge fast on the story based on only one chapter, just like the Raiden story quests, the first one did not solve the Sakoku policy but when it comes to the second one Ei finally understands everything and that’s why now we have the coming Inazuma event with the characters form Mondstadt and Liyue.

  17. Love how it took us many updates later to know that Ayato has been the answer to all the questions we had since 1.6 all along 😂
    From (SPOILERS):
    Him being the reason how Kazuha escaped Inazuma to helping the resistance reach and save the traveller from Raiden on time;

    Also (based on Ayato's voice lines) his connections to the Kaedehara clan in the past [probably have been under the Yashiro commission as well] and made his duty to help Kazuha as much as possible to make up for Ayato's ancestors failing to protect the decline of Kazuha's clan, there was a possibility that Kazuha had convinced Gorou to help [since Kamisato Clan and Resistance aren't in good terms due to Raiden loyalty] and bring them to Tenshukaku.
    *and of course, the traveller gaining the resistance's trust so that's also a possibility

    All in all, thanks Ayato for filling the supposed "plotholes" lmao

  20. And people said Ayato didn't do anything during the Vision Hunt Decree problem…
    Like, of course he's gonna move in the shadows. He's the Yashiro Commissioner, for crying out loud. He has to be careful with what he does (plus we already knew the Yashiro Commission was opposing the Decree, just not openly… since it would be really stupid).
    This trailer perfectly shows how a smart and skilled individual he is. I'm loving Ayato more and more.

  22. Also in Ayaka's story detail, The Kamisato Clan was nearly in ruin because of the fatui and also possibly killed their parents.

    Not gonna lie, you can say Ayato had a pretty good grudge against them. Also were pretty much cleaning the kanjou and tenryou comissioners messes since they colluded with the fatui,

    Wont be surprised if the shogun decide to execute them if she wanted.

    Honestly, do you even think ayato has the patience and self control to even listen to what they wanna propose to him? The fatui are the reason why ayato had to go through crap just to bring back the honor of his clan that lead to the death of his parents. The fatui should probably add ayato to their lists of persona non grata given that he is now a threat to their organization alongside diluc who has been under the fatui's skin even before the start of the game.

  35. Definitely think he help the resistance but I see more similarities when we had to have sayu steal the document for yae to convince Sara that’s would explained the fireworks going on because we got them from yoimiya and why sayu is sneaking in to get the documents

  36. Fun fact: In Ayato's CN Character Demo,the Pyro Fatui Agent in the beginning is voiced by Childe's VA,also the pyro Fatui agent in Childe's trailer is voiced by him too,which means,Childe was practically talking to himself.
