So it appears that Yae Miko has had some changes done to her kit and to me, in my opinion it does appear as if shes receiving an overall buff and I could not be more excited about that but we do have to temper our excitement because she is still beta and more changes are to be expected. I do feel like the changes will make Yae a lot easier, and a lot smoother to play, bit I dont like the fact that they are adamant about creating unnecessary problems/downsides in her kit just so we would have to fix them by obtaining constellations.
The reduction of base range of her turrets is quite stupid. It was made just so her former c2 would have actual value.
Although the 90 energy cost on her burst doesnt seem nearly as bad now, it still should have been 80. Again, a downside made purely so her constellation would actually be useful.
For people who still want to force yae on field dps I was thinking, if you use shimenawa for it (yes I know her multipliers aren’t as high/she doesn’t have a CA stamina reduction like other catalyst users), so you can only lose energy once every 10 secs and the buff procs, so say for rotation instead of dropping all totems and burst, you instead Yae EEE -> raiden burst -> THEN back to yae for burst and then drop totems again? Could work I was thinking
Sounds like Yae is gonna turn out great, yeah I'm gonna put Shenhe off until her rerun and focus on Yae for now. Now those banners will determine whether or not I try for her weapon or stick with the skyward atlas.
Seems good, I really hope that Yae can be a true electro main DPS cause we definitely need one.
And being a catalyst user is just a plus in this "Polearm Impact" madness.
Buff her normal attack
Never a doubt in my mind that she was going to be good. If you think about it the hype for her is on par with Ayaka and Xiao. I would say outside of archons, those are the two most hyped pre released characters we've had. There is absolutely no way with how much people want her, Mihoyo will let her release as a bad character. If they do that's just money they will lose for her rerun when fomo hits newer players that play after her banner. Now that doesn't mean she's going to be broken but there's no way she's going to be "bad". If anyone was going to be bad it would of been Shenhe or Itto since they don't carry the same type of love Yae seems too.
I love the gameplay changed. I have a feeling though, that these changes won’t be permanent though haha. I hope she continues to be buffed because I’m so hyped for her

IDC if Yae Miko is trash because let's be honest, it's Yae Miko who wouldn't pull for her because she's from Honkai Impact 3. Usually if a character gets buff not a good sign as on release, but hey it's Yae Miko, so who cares.

I really hope that her C6 adds either energy gain or AOE hits on her skill.
If we go a little deeper:
– C4 Add a small AoE dmg instance that hits for 10% of the skill dmg.
– C6 Turn back to 45% ignore
– Add to C6: Increase the dmg for the AoE hits by 10% skill dmg. Each AoE hit reduces electro resist for 7.5% for 4 seconds, max 3 stacks. At max stacks enemies' def is reduced by 15%.
This would be the dream C6 Yae. Gives her skill more utility especially for bosses, she shares the extra 15% with the party and it allows your burst to hit harder.

If they also make her autoattacks and charged attacks quicker, then she would be the definition of electro, quick, and deadly
I hope her basic attacks have higher multipliers.
The only change I would ask for is improving her multipliers for her NA. It's actually already pretty good because as far as I could see, unlike other catalyst users, she has pretty wide AoE on her NA which is very good for multiple enemies but not so much for bosses.
Look like a huge buff, but actually probably a minor buff and narrower niche.
Yae doesn't have ER scaling like Raiden. If Mihoyo removed the biggest limiter, which was cd, then it's likely Mihoyo will put another in place, probably her energy issues become her main limiter. Unless her energy issue was so bad that the cd was redundant? Somehow, I doubt it was bad enough to reduce cd by so much along with all these changes. Mihoyo probably will tweak her energy cost or particle generation.
If energy for Yae becomes a concern, then she is basically only really optimal in mono Electro teams. So, we could be continuing with this trend of mono centric 5 stars.
She went from clunky to spunky. Her gameplay looks so much more fluid and fun with the new changes

In my opinion genshin community is too spoiled with the overly broken characters if it doesn't meet the characteristics of a broken character it's trash. Same goes for the support if it's not on Bennett level it's trash y'all should stop right see this us happening because it's still on beta changes can be made don't be too judgy sometimes.
