TL:DW: Heizou doesnt have stats for main dps status while competing with sucrose for spots on teams (good luck). So while he wont be the best in slot, due to the nature of how strong the teams are it doesnt matter all too much and hes cool as hell.
Tl:dr: he will be bad, but it wont matter.
Just hoping Heizou won't be so clunky to use, unlike a certain fox lady. Even if his damage turns out to be low, it's fine since he won't be powercreeping Xiao

I know he won't be as good as C6 Kazuha, but since I love pure DPS C6 Kazuha's playstyle which Heizou is rather similar to enough, I don't like Sucrose and most importantly, he's so cute…yeah, I'll gladly take this budget DPS Kazu…don't care if he isn't going to be doing a ton of damage…lol
At best, You need his C1-C2 if you want him to be atleast on par with sucrose in applying fast anemo infusions due to an increase in atk speed and also for crowd control on his burst. C4 is for faster energy accumulation and C6 is a dps check.
C1-C5 makes him a sub-dps, on-field enabler while C6 makes him a good dps.
Dont believe in the statement that he powercreeps xiao in dmg just because he has a 1000 dmg multiplier in his e at max level. thats just a common dps rotation of xiao (2 e skill and one High plunge) and xiao has more continouous high dmg application than heizou.
I think we've already established when Kazuha released that "being able to replace Sucrose" is not something to laugh at or think is bad
but he's pretty so it's a win for me either way, I'm only getting characters I like visually now my account is more than solid already

He wont replace sucrose , HOWEVER he might do alot better in tazer teams with hakuzen ring if his normals are way better then sucrose
I want him regardless of his stats or kit because I like his design and his play style pleases me greatly so I just know I'm going to enjoy playing him when he comes out! X3
I disagree. Beidou, Xiangling and Rosaria are all excellent dps characters. Will they ever out damage 5* specifically designed for dps like ganyu, hu tao, xiao, ayaka, etc? No obviously because they're 4* units but they are still great enough that with only a decent build, they will get you through the game's content just fine. Heizou might be great as a dps. We don't know yet. Will he be Xiao? No… he's a 4* but that doesn't mean he isn't great. There is no PvP in this game. We don't need to worry about doing max damage all the time.
What Sucrose will be replaced by Heizou. I think not just check how useful constellation of sucrose she have in team.

Ok buddy, next. You don't know how to read a kit.
He is not a main DPS, he made to swap and not be on field most of the time. Basically, you play with your main DPS, you switch to Heizou, AA, Q, E, and you switch back to your main DPS or other supports. That's why he buffs the EM of others.
You can play him as main DPS, like you can play Fischl as main DPS but he is not made for that.

Im stoked that he'll be in the kazuah banner. Ive been saving for 3 months now. It was tough not to summon for Yalan but she'll be back. Kazuah not for another yr and a half when 2.8 drops.
I don't really care if he's going to be a bad DPS. I have plenty of DPS characters that I 36 star the Abyss with.

you don’t seem to understand how to build or make synergistic comps, as he is- on the contrary- going to be one on the best 4star dps’s the game
his skill has crazy scaling and I have a setup that actually makes him nuke with every E. Couple that with his accessible 4* cons and he’s gonna substantially better still
I have done all the research and math on his scalings and multipliers and can confirm all this as a fact

Honestly the wait for 2.8 is killing me. And I’m not looking forward to waiting for 3.0 I wish banners were 2 weeks like how they were with xiaos & hu taos banner back in some update in the 1.0 era because even tho you’ll have less time to farm the updates go by faster meaning their rerun would too and by that point you’d have enough to wish
I've stopped caring about 4 stars. They've been pretty underwhelming to me. Only launch ones seem to have any interest to me, which is pretty ironic because the launch 5 stars are the complete opposite.

Noone can replace Sucrose.
So, being as good as or slightly worse than sucrose makes him a bad character, when sucrose is an S tier 4 star character? That doesn’t seem right. Not to mention the only advantage sucrose has is EM buffing, Heizou makes up for this with way, way more personal damage. Heizou will not be bad, and his constellations scale much better than sucrose.
Actually he does buff EM as well. I can’t see how sucrose is much better than Heizou.

Yeah, Sucrose is kinda broken. I already have her at C6 and I don't see her gettin' replaced by Heizou as your driver/enabler. He looks fun though, kinda like an airbender.

Have you seen his constellations on Honey Impact? I think he will be able to fill the DPS role just like Yanfei can (even though there is stiff competition for her she is still a great 4 star DPS).
Only problem I see with him is the lack of reactions that buff his own damage, like with Xiao.
well should i wait for sucrose to be in a banner or should i use my primogems on this banner with heizou? also does anyone know if sucrose will be coming back soon
