Did you see it?
(I wonder how many of you know what actually I mean XD)
the Perinheri book IS really important though as you say the parts that a fictional are hard to separate from the 'resource" material the book was based on. We know that part about the 4 champions of khaenriah was likely correct as ONE definitely is, alberich. Though the name "perinheri" might be fictional the character may still have existed. Given that the hearth likely existed in khaenriah, it's very probable that the jester still believed that the finding of the "child descender" was still the true mission. Since we know the jester DIDNT agree with whatever action khaenriah took that likely CAUSED the cataclysm, this could have been the summoning of the "twins". Now, given that the orphanage of khaenriah housed extraplanar children, the REAL question now is, who of the characters that we know are these children (or descended from these children). It's possible arlechinno is, or maybe columbia? too many unknowns.
My hot take is I think capitano IS captain perinheri, given his near indefeatble status even amoung the fatui.
6:46 It seems to me that the sovereign (king) is a normal human king of Khaenriah and not a god. Calling a king "almighty" is an exaggeration but then it would also be an exaggeration to call the Primordial One "almighty" since they were damaged by the war with the 2nd throne. While there is a distinction made by eg Enjou between "demon gods" (including Archons) and the divine beings of Celestia, I don't get the impression that Dainsleif is leaving open the possibility of Khaenri'ah worshipping the Primordial One when he denies Khaenri'ah ever had a god.
I've previously hypothesized that Rjinedottir (and the rest of the Surtalogi group) are essentially the 2nd throne, or that they arrived with the 2nd throne, based on the fact that they appear to be happily living in the Abyss. As such it would be something like 8000 years since they came to Teyvat.
My guess is Perinheri is just a fictional character although it seems at least one of the background characters was based on a real family name that might have been discovered by Fontainian archeologists. There's not enough information for more than a guess. But I think we have enough characters introduced from that area (Abyss) and that time (4-5000 years ago).
I do think that Perinheri alludes to Arlecchino's story/tale to a degree, the characters aren't the same but the allegory seems plausible. With it's theme of rebirth through fire, the orphanage having being a thing since the nation's inception, and Cappuccino possibly being one of those kids that came from the beyond. This also ties in with what i wrote in the last video, about thinking that she might not be fully "alive", due to that ordeal of going through the chimney and seeing "it" (the red/balemoon). Which would make the individual go through a cursed rebirth of sorts, or something like that, since the sages were trying to create/produce a descender and that might've been the failed prospects.
Anyhow, can't wait for 4.6 since i'm pretty tired of logging in to just do commissions and leave. I assume that the Archon quests are gonna be all about The Knave and/or Remuria from now on, since Focalors is out of the picture, cheers and have a good one.
I heard a theory somewhere where someone theorize that perinhari might be the abyss sibling since in Chinese perinheri is referred to either a male or female depending on which travel you chose so it could be the abyss sibling since the twin we chose didn’t wake up until during the cataclysm when they were forced awake by their other siblings, plus the archon war was a event that lasted hundreds or thousands of years which means the twins would have landed here somewhere between the archon war and the catechism with the third descender likely already been dead when the archon war first came into place but it is interesting if the third could be perinheri but another theorist talked abt how perinheri doesn’t have much relevance to the story but I’m not sure I also believe the house of the hearth was created by pierro as the khaenriah orphanage equivalent to it especially since arlecchino has connections to a crimson moon and balemoon
I’ve been reading the name “Perinheri” as if it was in Portuguese because of the “nh~” combination. In Portuguese “nh~” makes the sound that the letter “ñ” does in Spanish and the letter combination “gn~” does in Italian. Example: Bagno/Baño/Banho.
Fun fact: In the chinese(original) version of the book, you will find that Perinheri is described in either male/female pronouns. If you've chosen the male traveller as your main character, Perinheri's pronouns translates to something like "he", and then "she" if otherwise. Yes, you guessed it, Perinheri is not the abyss twin, but the traveller. This could explain how they gained their descender powers, they came from the dark sea(sea of stars, aka space) and was subjected to training with other outlanders, but only our traveller became a descender through rebirth(that burning thing). Maybe it would be connected to the pyro nations plot("ode to ressurection", where one gains power from rebirth, but loses memory, similar to a phoenix but becoming stronger). That's why only our twin remembers everything and not us, and wishes to leave the planet with us, but we were intercepted by the sustainer of heavenly principles. Though the heavenly principles absorbed our power, we will get them back, for we are the 4th descender that ever came to be in this world (probably through khaenriah's use of forbidden knowledge, which might've corrupted the heavenly principles, that's why she's been absent for so long since the main story).
Did I cook?
I just can’t wait for 4.6 to hopefully fill up the gaps in Perniheri lore we have rn. Like this book told us so much yet not enough and created new questions
Another funny thing about the spanish version. The House of the Hearth in spanish is called The House of the Fireplace or Bonfire, and is poetic because the reminiscence of imagining the sweet heat of a fireplace inside of a cozy house protected of the blizzard of outside, (LEAK)

and also the constellation of Arlecchino.
I don't know why it give my gladiator set vibe.
I think that Perinheri can only be the Third Descender's companion if the events took place at the very start of the Archon War. Remember that King Deshret was offered a Gnosis at the beginning of the Archon War, which he refused. The Third Descender should have been gone by then already. But it's definitely not impossible
how did you come to the conclusion that the two heirs from the battle pass aren't both a descender?
