  1. Yeah for me the game's too good to be played for free. I don't really need to spend on it, I was playing for free for about two months and was just fine but being a software developer myself I know what it takes to do things like this and I know very well they're doing it to feed their families just like everyone else. It was just feeling wrong. With about $11 per month on Velkin and BP this isn't even the most money I have ever spent on a game.

  2. I agree, players are just taking this game for granted, focusing on its flaws instead of appreciating the good. It's true that the game lacks end game content but this game still gives you better experience compare to others. It's also sad that many people are talking shit against Hoyo because of "skin tone" for Sumeru characters but cant appreciate how they gave respect and justice showcasing the culture, arts and music of countries they are based off. I know representation is important but representation is not only can be seen in "skin tone". Now that 2nd anniversary is coming, expect that these same people are going to make it more toxic the same last year or maybe worst when Hoyo didn't give them want they want. Sometimes I just wish that this game didn't became so popular so that the only ones who truly enjoy and loved the game are free from this toxic side of the community who still despite all uses Genshin to stay relevant.

  4. people take genshin for granted, but after looking at tower of fantasy, you realize the difference in quality and how genshin actually has passion put into it, unlike tof which is just a lifeless cash grab attempt

  5. I know right.. this is now the best bop music in the entire game atleast for me… I really like sumeru music specially on Port Ormos, Sumeru city(day), Vanarana and Vimara Village.

  6. Port Ormos daytime theme sound really good because it perfectly fits the location, like a glove. I bet money that if you were to play this song to someone with no knowledge of the game, they would at least be able to tell this is a theme of a bustling port town.
This theme kinda reminds me of "We all lift together" from Warframe

  7. To be honest, I had doubt on Mihoyo's ability to grasp the intricacy of middle eastern/indian musics like they could with East Asian music they are more familiar with. But as it turns out my concern is unnecessary.

  8. Thatโ€™s what Iโ€™ve been trying tell a lot of people. The game is free, and we get to enjoy every beauty of it, be it the music, lore, scenery or characters. Yes content is not as fast but that is how they make it. Iโ€™d rather they do it that way to make sure the game is beautiful and meaning than just spit it out quickly without any love put into it.

  9. i cant wait for more genshin's concert, last time genshin has concert was in their 1st anniversary and people tried their best to cancelled genshin because they didnt get free 5*, its so sad, i can get 5* just by buying monthly primogems, but concert that graceful? we can only get just because mihoyo gave it to us for free, people just become a beggar when it come to genshin anniversary

  10. Ngl, one of the main reasons I play Mihoyo/Hoyoverse games is the music. The thing that I look forward to the most in a new update (aside from exploring new regions and new story obviously) is just leaning back and listening to the new soundtrack. The way that they just seem to be able to mix classical music, traditional instruments and modern stuff just fascinates me, be it Genshin or Honkai. Not to mention all the top-tier orchestral performances and concerts that we got and likely will continue to get in the future. Speaking of pointless controversies and the upcoming anniversary. If, for the upcoming anniversary, we "only" got a musical performance, I would honestly be fine with it (especially if it entails Enkanomiya and Sumeru).

  11. This is the way ive been approaching the game aswell, Ive paid for welkins since 1.0 and will continue to do so aslong as we get that money invested back into the game. I fucking love this game so much and its visible how much passion is put into the game by the devs. Ofcourse this doesnt mean that the game is exempt from criticism, far from it, but theres just something special about it yk?

  12. True a lot of genshin players take the game for granted and always complain. If they could just take a moment and appreciate the game and it's free, where can u find a game like that?
