How is Genshin Impact after 6 months of not playing the game? We take a quick look and see if it still holds up since its September launch.
Genshin Impact is a massive game that, on its initial launch, was truly magical. But I think we won’t be alone here to say that most people had a honeymoon phase, and the end game became the crossroads for many players. But six months later, picking up Genshin Impact again turned out to be an interesting experience because of a unique combination of traits this game has that we never thought about.
What has changed in Genshin Impact? What’s been added? And how is it for returning players? We go over what we think while playing on the newest update.

Characters should be free and constellation should be purchase since it’s like a cheat code
Yes it is.
Loving the constant update.
This is a nice breath of the wild video!
Still waiting for an xbox version lol.
The world is good. The mobile game gacha, daily energy system, and endgame isn't.
6 months only? Yes it is. lol, for me looks like "1 year playing genshin", and is just 6 months, jesus.
You can't say is it still good when it was never good
Yes
How many hours did you put in?
Lol yes, and it's just the beginning
Would have loved this game more if it had offline play….
I only play from time to time now. I started playing GI for the exploration but I've explored the areas already. Not 100% but enough that I'm satisfied. I hold no interest in advancing the story since it never gripped my attention. Still, a good game no doubt.
Yes, if your are rich for gacha I guess. Lol
nope
They just announced housing is coming in the next update out next week, too. Give it a year and Genshin just might be a beast of a free game.
Lucky for me, I play casually. Anyone who goes balls-to-the-wall would definitely feel the burn out a lot quicker. I myself have yet to experience any sort of burn out. I turn it on at least every day, but only play more than 5 minutes if there's something I want to do. I still haven't done all story quests and have only maxed out 2 characters so far. I still haven't done a single Hang Out event added in last month's update, either. ^_^;
While Genshin’s endgame is a little slow, for a gacha in its infancy, Genshin definitely has a lot going for it and events are steadily getting better each update.
Best thing about Genshin is that it never forces you to play for long periods of time so it can always be a fun causal game.
If this guy hasn't played in a long time, why is he the one you have talking about it?
Pouce bleu 👍
Still wondering as to why it’s not out on Xbox, I would love to try this game out. I did try it on mobile but I really didn’t want to pass the game in a small screen, plus it would make my hand cramp after a short session. My PC isn’t strong enough and with COVID these days I definitely can’t afford to buy another console. Still have that question in my mind as to why it isn’t out on Xbox but everywhere it is available. 🤔
The game is great it just has a lack of security and no endgame content
God damn your framerate was abysmal at 1:02, play it on PC please
No
I love the game but you have to remember not to spend money. You can do the entire game without spending a dime.
Kusoge
Yes, it is.
He missed a lot of characters to get
This game is so bad i want to barf
I’m still playing and its fun
Their doing a good job adding more and more content but there still needs to be more added along with alot more co op activities, An arena type mode with rewards, more bosses, different weapons outside of what we already have when they introduce new characters. I also feel like the main character should have the option to use every weapon, something that sets them apart since this is their story afterall.
Still good implies that it was at one point good to begin with
Feel like younger people play this game just to look at pretty bodies of these children anime characters.
i enjoyed the game for sometime. now theres 2 words to describe it. 1. empty 2. repetitive. i still have high hope they can improve.
Long answer…kinda. SHort answer no
Still good ? it was never good, bunch of kids giving money to pooh.
Good Game since its free
Short answer: yes, and it only gets better every day. Been playing every day since the beginning of November and still loving it. I'm really excited for its future.
Bruh
I am annoyed, still no switch release, three years already
Can I remap the O and X button's on the PS4 controller yet, so I'm not constantly selecting things when I want to go back in a menu? If not, I think I'll continue to stay away from the game.
Some people here have unrealistic expectations. Always remember that Genshin Impact is a gacha mobile game.
fun game until the story is completed, then it's just repetitive grinding.
I’d rather replay BotW.
In short: YES
You missed a chance to get the Best Girl: HuTao
They should make genshin impact 2 a single player , priced game that comes with all the content
It will get really good when it got anime
2:11 ATK percent hat on Childe lmao
Still good for now, but it'll start being a painful hassle if they keep adding new mini games or game mechanics and grinding materials rather then adding quality story or world updates.
I've been told this game is kinda pay-to-win. Is this true ? Or this is something you must pay to "level up" otherwise takes forever to do it.
