About the video: Version 5.1 is just one week away, but before that, Hoyoverse will drop the drip marketing for version 5.2 characters. According to the latest info from reliable sources, we can expect to see Chasca and Ororon’s drip marketing, and they’ll probably drop it on October 8th. As you may already know, Chasca will be a 5-star anemo bow user, and Ororon is expected to be a 4-star electro bow user. But today, we have some new information about the characters releasing in version 5.3. The source of this information is DK2, also shared by HXG, so it’s pretty reliable, and let’s get right into it.

Okay, when was the last time Hoyoverse released another 5-star character beside any archon’s release? You don’t remember, right? It was in version 2.1 and 1.1, when Hoyoverse released Kokomi and Childe alongside Raiden Shogun and Zhongli. But that happened so long ago, dinosaurs were practically texting each other! My point is, the game was new back then, so they had to release more and more characters to keep the story going, and you know, also to keep the players engaged.

But they didn’t do it in Sumeru or Fontaine. However, Hoyoverse is planning to release Citlali in version 5.3 alongside the pyro archon Mavuika. Yes, Citlali is now expected to be a 5-star cryo unit. As for her weapon, she’s expected to be a catalyst user, but that’s subject to change. A few weeks ago, I said that Citlali would be a 4-star character, but that was then, and this is now.

Back then, almost every source said she would be a 4-star character, and I’m sorry if you like Citlali, but she does look like a 4-star character. However, she hasn’t appeared in the story yet, so we don’t know her impact or how important she is, and we also have no clue about her gameplay, so saying anything about her rarity without looking at her gameplay would be a bit premature. At any rate, Citlali is a fortune teller belonging to the Masters of the Night-Wind tribe, and we will see her in the upcoming Archon Quest’s Acts 3 & 4 in version 5.1.

Moving on to Mavuika! Again, the developers have already confirmed during the 5.0 Livestream that Act 5 of Natlan’s Archon Quest will be released in version 5.3, which means Mavuika is confirmed to release in 5.3. Yep, this means we won’t get any Archon Quest in version 5.2. I know what you’re thinking, but don’t worry, 5.2 will not be a filler patch. We will get new areas, new quests, and everything, except the Archon Quest. Speaking of version 5.2, Venti or Wanderer is almost confirmed to get a rerun. As for the last spot, it could be anyone, but looking at Hoyoverse’s recent pattern, I’m guessing Arlecchino will get a rerun. But it’s Hoyoverse we’re talking about here, so who knows? They might rerun Xianyun or any other character as well.

As for the rerun banners in version 5.3, Mavuika and Citlali are 5-star characters, so both of them will definitely get their own banners, probably in different phases, like Mavuika in phase one and Citlali in phase two. As for the rerun banners, Shenhe, Wriothesley, and Ayaka have a very good chance of getting a rerun. Version 5.3 will also feature the Liyue chronicled wish banner, so you can expect old Liyue characters to appear on that banner—except for Hu Tao, because she’s getting her rerun in the second phase of version 5.1 alongside Nahida.

  12. I can't tell if Citlali is a 4star or not but what i can confidently say is that she will be a catalyst, she can't be anything else.She screams catalyst vibesm And just a guess…maybe her weapon will be like an fortune orb or sth🤩. In any case, she is soo pretty to say the least

  34. This makes sense since all Tribal Ancient Name leaders who need to be awakened are 5 stars ; Citlali makes sense to be a 5 star if Ororon is a 4 star since we haven’t gotten any info about another character from the Masters of the Night wind

  38. idk if you have any info on this, but what are your expectations for the next yoi banner? I have been saving up for a long time now, and i finally want to get her to c6, shed be my first c6 and all that f2p, so im a bit hyped, but i havent seen any leaks for her next rerun, so I was hoping you maybe know something about that
