I mean, there are builds that outscale high investment EM Kazuha that are easier to farm for. EM is just good because its a simple build for a good character.
I was thinking on puting the curse sword in jean, or should i just use other sword with her?
This is very disappointing. I have almost nothing but mediocre atk based weapons and this does nothing for my account. Event weapons, especially lore based ones, are exactly where we should get free, niche, character specific weapons. The Cinnibar Spindle actually convinced me to pull for Albedo; I can't believe they wouldn't continue with that strategy. Sure, you can't really complain about a free weapon, unless it's basically on par with weapons we can craft. I guess the only real benefit is that you can more easily grind for the refinements. These event weapons have been exceedingly lackluster for players that have burned through enough primos to have an abundance of unused weapons. Hoping this might at least look better on Ayato than the weird Flute.
I mean, we only already have 2000 swords with an atk% substat. I could really use another one.
We all know we will feel compelled leveling it up to 90 due to the discount in crystals. In other words, another waste of mora/resin/mats.
No thanks. This time the weapon is gonna stay at level 1. I had enough things interrupting my artifact grind (ley line overflow included. Good event but, again, you feel compelled burning 60 resin per day, while your copium artifacts collect dust).
It's even worst than Amenoma on him. R1 AK gives 0.8 energy/s with 2xE in 15s, which equals to 57% of Kazuha's maximum self energy generation. Those ER could be so much of anything else on artifact substats.

i pulled kazuha when he first released so i'm happy that i don't have to pull also he isn't necessarily hard to build my first build for kazuha was emblem and that worked really well all you need is em, er and anemo dmg. this weapon will be so good for jean though

I really wish they wouldn't do kazuha like that he's been absolutely one of my most used characters since I got him. I love his versatility especially for avoiding climbing (I hate climbing). The craftable best weapon for him is great but imo it doesn't match his aesthetic. I think he deserves a more katana like weapon as his best in slot… Well that's my opinion

An Ayato 4Bliz together with Ayaka and Kazuha and Diona, how feasible is this?
i can understand why people would be upset about this sword in regards to it being terrible for kazuha's best builds, but i think the fact that it's not a good weapon for him is the point in the first place. we can't know for sure until 2.8 drops later today, but i think this weapon isn't /kazuha's/ sword, but one that's pretty excellent for ayato or ayaka's combat style instead.
my theory is that the cursed blade will result from kazuha trying to forge the blade from the blueprint that kunikuzushi tampered with that resulted in the kaedehara bladesmiths falling to ruin– and the original requester of that sword was the yashiro commission, aka, the kamisato clan. with that in mind, it seems pretty fitting to me that kazuha can't use this sword properly– it was meant for kamisato swordsmanship from the start.
(i have not looked at any leaks; this is just my own thoughts about the sword and hyv's reasoning for designing it like this.)

I'll probably use it for Kaeya or Shinobu. Not best in slot but it frees up a rancor another 4 star.

The cursed blade is indeed cursed.
If it is story quest weapon rather than event weapon, everybody us going ti get it. It's not so straightforward with Kazuha where you need to wait for a rerun. So I guess for general player it's actually better than a weapon tailored for a character they don't have.
In any case I'm going to level it up to 90 because that's what I always do with such weapons. Perhaps there will be good use for it, I'm often short on weapons for new characters and it's better to have something for them than nothing.
So, it's a "Cursed Blade" for a reason.
What would be a cool idea is if they released "cursed" billets that could be crafted/refined into weapons with player specified substats via quests. (ie a Bow with a DEF substat if you wanted [because youre insane thats why])

I am completely fine with this weapon, I mainly build with lore and solo character gameplay in mind rather than a specific team based, this way its just more resin efficient and I got a reason to use the various characters I hv.

I'd imagine that they did this partly due minor compaints from people about prior f2p weapons but mainly because Hoyoverse doesn't want it's playerbase to have a weapon that's both viable and very accessible. After all if they did have the Cursed Bladed caitor to Kazuha's kit then that's less incentive players have to waste primos and their actual money trying get a copy of, say the freedom sworn sword for example.
I plan to use it on my Ayaka as replacement for the flute

This sword is cursed lol. They made the 5 star sword that is aesthetically designed for jean have stats for kazuha, and the sword that's aesthetically designed for him and comes from his story quest have stats that are better for jean. Like wtf

Oh boy. Another f2p weapon for players just starting out. I guess it is better than some 3 star weapons. Not on Kazuha though. Even 3 star weapons are better on him like Dark Iron Sword.
I think of of the main reasons these exist is to drain the resources of players by giving bonuses like x1.5 which are a trap. You should not be spending any resources on them. Bonus or not.
I think what a lot of people are missing, is that Kazuha never even had a good F2P Weapon to begin with, which is why people are upset at this weapon, Now before anyone argues with me and says "Well Fav sword and Sac sword exist, and Iron Sting isn't to bad" The problem with that argument is that a persons chance of even getting a Fav sword or Sac sword or even a sword billet is not that good, for example, I've pulled on so many banners, and I literally only have two Fav weapons both unrefined and neither a sword plus I have characters that would make better use of said weapons than Kazuha, because to be entirely honest, they are no where near crafted for his kit, and if you have say, a xingqiu, of which most people do from the event, he makes much better use of Sac sword, and if you even have a fav sword, it could be better to give it to a Bennett or a Jean or even a Shinobu if you have them built, and at the end of the day Iron Sting is still ass, It's freedom sworns dollar store step cousin, and it's a waste of a billet that could've been used to make a better weapon for a different character, and all of this is the exact reason why we were hyped for a F2P event weapon for Kazuha, that we just found out is a garbage weapon not tailored for him and is still outclassed by other F2P swords.
it being all attack, i guess Jean could use it if you don't have something better for her/want to use the inazuma craftable sword on someone else but meh. i probably wont use it. maybe the reason this weapons sucks is that Albedo got a 4 star sword last time for the sole reason that no one wants summin shaper since it's not even built for him. Kazuha has freedom sworn so why would they reduce their profits by giving us a new/decent free alternative in the same patch? such weapons are only to replace fuck up weapons like summit shaper
Is Mihoyo out of touch with players, or purposefully trolling us? It's anyone's guess at this point…
