A soup dish that’s been stewed for a good long while. The meat and ham have been diced into small pieces, and the soup has been kept on low heat till it turned milky white. The process has brought out the distinct flavors of both kinds of meat, making for an especially tasty soup.

Its looks like Filipino's dish "Tinola"
i hate myself from calling this tinola
God this makes me hungry. Also i love bamboo shoots. They're one of my favorites.
Hi, i juz recently played genshin, n i found your video on Zhongli's specialty!!!! Tq i got your recipe on this special dish. Hope i can make this one day!!!😅
Anyway, liked your video!!!!
Bamboo shoots are very delicious. We usually cook it with pork ribs in our country although it is sour bamboo shoot. You can also slice them thin and fry them with beans.Really delicious.
this looks like a great soup to have when you come down with a cold
Love bamboo shoots- every time I used this dish or went to harvest shoots in game, I wanted to order Chinese! This looks so good!
Zhongli’s cooking is nice but he always makes traveller buy him the things he needs which I can relate to to
i actually tried to make this a few days ago, it worked but my look of the soup looked horrible lol but it tasted incredibly amazing 😀 thanks for the recipe! It didn’t have any problem, i’ll definitely try to make it again someday.
What can I substitute the ham with?
Can I substitute the tofu skins too?
What can I use as a substitute for the ham? I'm a Zhongli main and would like to try making this for… well… sentimental reasons hehe. I also might not be able to find tofu skin, so what's the closest noodle/pasta I can use?
I'm thinking I could just season it with Fish sauce (patis) because that thing is incredibly salty as well.
But did Zhongli himself bring enough Mora for that? As Paimon would put, he would be short of the exact amount it is sold for. Lol
I love how on 4:35 one of the descriptions is literally "thick". Now I understand why it's Zhongli's special dish… 😳🍑
Is there any substutions for jinhua ham? Im currently in the uk and its not anything ive seen where i live.
I like asian soup
But i hate bamboo shoot so much
Bamboo shoot is a thing i can't eat
Is it possible to replace scallions by onions?
Bruh the dude even got the fresh bamboo shoot….
I’m asian but i’ve never had fresh ones before
wolfberries 3hrs is overcooked. 5-10mins, before serve, is best to retain its flavor.
ChefMar: "At one point in this recipe did I ever add salt."
Also ChefMar: Proceeds to add a GENEROUS AMOUNT of salt to bamboo shoots
Me sees this : ohhh bamboo shoot soup click

Shut up copycat
if u keep cooking the soup does the broth gets thicker?
Sinigang
Good choice with the white pepper, I also add a bit five spice powder to the dish. The tofu looks nice, never seen these sheets before.
Not me watching a tutorial that I’ll never actually try
Lol put some rice powder! This is not yet perfect
yeah ok but did your attack increase?!?! thats what we all want to know!
If Jin Hua ham isn't available, is it possible to replace it with regular deli hams?
Not sure why I just want broth so much when it's 40° 🙄
Aww man… I want to eat it, but at the same time I don't like pork…
Me: How have you not tried bamboo shoot.
Me realizing I live with an Asian family
Why your every meal is with ham/pork… No offense to the ham/pork lovers, but I don't like it very much. If you can make a video with goat meat or cow meat:)
wow this is crazy! my vietnamese family has always made this (its called canh mang) but their version only has pork and bamboo(no tofu skin or ham). and i think maybe lemongrass instead of ginger. it looks exactly the same and gives me such childhood vibes. im mindblown. i even went to try and look it up and it doesnt even show up as a vietnamese dish so they must have been cooking a chinese recipe the whole time 🤣😭
Fun fact, bamboo is a type of grass, not a tree. A lot of people apparently don't know that. 🤷
The thing is: for some people, bamboo shoot smells really bad…
yeeah i wish I had bamboo in my… country lol
Hu Tao's specialty next please!
that looks so good! i want to try it!!
“Try it at home it’s really easy to make”
Well I highly suspect it’ll first take a fair few hours to drive to Toronto, buy… everything really, hours home, and then hours to make the soup! 🤣
Looks sinigang to me
for some reason, i can smell the soup
is there anything i can use instead of pork meat? since im muslim and cant eat pork meat (T_T)
Do you have good suggestions for online places to get some of the ingredients you use? Like the ham and bamboo shoots in this video? Cause I live in the middle of nowhere and I doubt anyplace in my state would have them.
damn I'm hungryy
When you want to have it but you don't have some of the ingredients cuz.. how
Hey, sorry but, I don't think I'll be able to find jinhua ham around here, do you think is there any alternative to it?
Thanks in advance.
why not use salami instead
How much shaoxing wine did you add?
