the thing is, i never roll crit rate on my pieces but roll only on crit damage so my hu tao has crack head stats like 50:260

I never had a proper pyro dps before but when I failed Kazuha and got Diluc I lazily built him for the sake of a Pyro dps. Naturally i slapped on shit artifacts because I hardly touched pyro domain.
But to my surprise Diluc at baseline talents slaps everyone so hard. Such an easy character to build
But Crit rate will go as far as 100%. I think 50% Crit rate is a bare minimum requirement for your DPS to start building around Crit Dmg, because building Crit dmg = sacrificing Atk value for bigger multiplier and bigger output of damage. Still, if you can't manage to get 50% crit rate, you better stocking up your attack until you get better artifact

It succs so hard having no cr sword as f2p ;-; like I can get only 45/190 on my kazu bc i have to take more care of the cr substats…
With characters that hit many times for smaller damage like Keqing I feel like 60% c.rate is enough, while on characters where one specific attack needs to crit as much as possible like Eula's and Diluc's bursts I'd ideally have 70-75%, anything over that is overkill
My diluc have 24% crit rate.. but the sad this is that crit rate is his ascension stat

This isn't wow or ffix its not that serious i play both ways and this comes from a whale on NA and a F2P on china server. You if you level and gear up either way in that screenshot you will kill everything just fine the game isnt hard folks doesnt take a megamind to figure out the ai in the game.
Shit did you forget how stupid bediou counter is. Most mobs will just look at you while you hold it unless you tap n perfect counter.
I say go big and stop at 50% i love that ratio i still 36 star abyss matter what my ratio.

Sometimes my diluc with 68 crit rate wont even even crit when doing 3 e skill making me stress lol
I make it a point to have a general 50% 120% cr to cd on average, then after that, i try for 70ish%, but can't always do it, but that's what Diluc's special pancakes are for, even without the 20% cd proc, makes it very very nice for having 70+%, I haven't gotten Diluc on my f2p yet, still hoping, but I got Razor on my first wish of the 10 from the Novice banner, the discounted one, even before Noelle lol, then Xingqiu on second 8/10 pull on it, so I lucked out, hell, I even got Physical% on the free 4* Bloodstained Goblet from the nun in the church, with decent stats, so it made my ratios at lv20 pretty decent ^-^
I have my xiao with 40.7 prob crit and 207.3 dmg crit 💀

Me as a dolphin, semi spender……I have NEVER gotten higher than 160% crit damage, and never gotten over like 80% crit rate….

I think besides those who still don't know about the golden ratio, the rest of us are just people who have no choice with building better ratios because the artifacts RNG is so bad.
