Recently, we received new information about Alice and Durin. So in this video, let’s take a look and discuss when both of them will be released.

The source of the information about Alice and Durin being playable comes from GenshinIntel.

Both are expected to become playable, but release dates were not specified.

Alice is well-known throughout Teyvat as a renowned adventurer and is also known as Klee’s mother. She is a member of the Hexenzirkel, a group of witches known since the beginning of the game.

As you may already know, all summer events are hosted by Alice or other witches from the Hexenzirkel.

Diluc claims that only two people in Mondstadt would have been capable of organizing the events of the Golden Apple Archipelago: Venti, the Archon, and Alice. Since Diluc knows Venti’s real identity as Barbatos, he implies that Alice has a similar power level as one of the Seven Archons of Teyvat.

Additionally, in Aloy’s video, Alice mentions knowing her past and origins, as well as having knowledge from different worlds. As you know Wanderer has been erased from Irminsul, so no one from Teyvat knows him anymore. But Alice states she could have pretended to forget him, but chose to tell the truth instead. This suggests that the changes made in Irminsul cannot affect Alice’s knowledge. This could mean two things: either she does not originate from Teyvat, making her immune to some of its laws, or she has found a way to bypass these laws.

Furthermore, She once shot a Hillichurl to Celestia, tried to kidnap Yoimiya so she would make fireworks for Klee
and even made yae miko cry, so you can imagine what kind of a menace she is.

While we don’t have any information about her kit or playstyle, it’s likely that Alice will be a Pyro Catalyst user, like Klee. Her kit would probably emphasize high-risk, high-reward gameplay focused on causing chaotic explosions, she is Klee’s mother after all.

Considering that Alice has only been hinted at through voice messages and her involvement in summer events, her release might be strategically saved for a later version of the game. There have been hints that in the final version of the game, we will meet Venti, which could hint Alice’s first appearance around that time.

Now, regarding Durin:

If you’re not familiar with Durin, he is a dragon who plays a significant role in Mondstadt’s lore. Created through alchemy by the alchemist Gold, he is known for his battle against Dvalin. Durin’s corrupted nature and immense power posed a great threat to Mondstadt until he was defeated. His body now lies in Dragonspine, but he plays a part in the new story in the 4.8 event, hinting at his potential release in future versions.

It’s very likely that we will see Durin or Alice release in a dormant port in future versions of the game, but it’s not confirmed.

  8. Okay now I’m confused, Genshin has been complaining about having too many characters so they might not be able to feature all of the character reruns.. but now they’re adding unnecessary characters 😂 I don’t get it

  12. Genshin impact is TOXIC. It gives me the ick watching people log on and instantly start up genshin. I guess You have to be a non genish player to see how bad being addicted to genshin looks. And all the bad things that come with it. Gambling, isolation (no multiplayer) , and the neglect for real and social life that comes with it.
