  8. It was never stated, that upcoming costume is the real uniform from way back in the days. It says "it was made to resemble", which allows for any sort of modifications, including ditching the Spantamad sigil.

  13. It’s kinda wild how Lisa isn’t really brought up in Sumeru at all….. like… I for sure thought we’d get some type of lore with her since she studied there. Maybe we will with this upcoming event?

  15. If my impression of the timeline is correct, then Lisa must have graduated a decent while ago. In addition to her own revisions or akademiya revisions to the uniform, I believe this is probably just a character design choice.

  16. I might be wrong on that but I dont think they all HAVE to wear uniform with decals. Like the traveler doesnt have to wear green adventurer's uniform (+ fishl and benny)

    Cause not every student npc have dashran's color in their clothes (atleast not on the hat)

    Also in the end of Tighnari's story quest you can see the photo near Karkata where was Karkata's friend with fansy glasses (sorry dont remember how to pronounce his name) and Tighnari. Tighnari told that when he was a student many other students tend to take a photo with him, and on that photo Tighnari wore his usual clothes.

    So either I'm wrong or blind or the uniform is not obligatory

    Or genshin just doesnt give a damn which is more likely

  19. The description of it says it was an outfit she had commissioned to be made, BASED on her Akademiya uniform. Obviously it's not going to be the exact same Akademiya uniform. Evenso, she's no longer a student so what it looks like doesn't matter.

I remember before sumeru came out I thought that how we would get to sumeru was that Lisa would take us there or collie would come to monstad and then when she goes back take us with her and we would have seemed bettewn her and amber or a scene between cyno and Lisa or just something with Lisa but it was a bug let down that she wasn’t even mentioned at all in sumeru

    Also if she was the best student at the academia shouldent she have been a sage or offered the role or at least mentioned by one of the sages or something

  31. I'm so happy that I fully built her 🙂
    I hope we get a quest in Sumeru with her in it so we can learn more about why she left, we kind of know why from character stories however a flashback would be nice, as well as confirmation about that magic book she touched that cut her lifespan.
    I don't think its been confirmed or not if they decided to keep that in her back story or if they ditched it in the finalized version of Genshin.

  34. People: why lisa outfit has more details and fragrant than the npc that looks like ordinary uniform
    Some people: Makes assumptions, probably she has high role to have it look different to let everyone know about her role, etc

    Me: money ofc(for people that failed to get her free skin and might decide to buy) , if hoyo just put an ordinary uniform on lisa would players like it? They might even complain that lisa outfit looks terrible like it doesnt even have that much effort.

As far as we know the title witch isn't just lady who knows magic but refers to a specific high power level, like klee's mom, signora (crimson witch) and well, Lisa, even tho she doesn't associate herself with other witches, we know that others consider her a witch, so she is problebly a lot stronger than she shows

After Sumeru release in 3.0, 3.1, 3.2 and so on and getting through the main story i was so overwhelmed by the amount of lore we got, i remember thinking to myself "damn i really need a whole essay by catwithbluehat" to understand everything. That was when i realized you were taking a break in late 2022 and got sad, you are the only content creator i watch constantly with the bell activated since i started playing this game in 2020.
    I can not express how happy i was when i learned about your return, thank you for coming back and i know it's not much but i joined your membership here, if u ever think about running a patreon or something i would love to continue to support you there. Hands down i cannot keep up with Genshin Lore if it wasn't for your videos.

  41. Where is any of this written? – not questioning it, I’m just curious where all this extra lore can be found. I often find my desire for character lore stonewalled by new banners in the ever progressing but seldom deepening gacha system.

  45. I think It's already written in her Outfit detail but It said that The outfit is her design that was design similar to her Uniform at the time. It's not entirely her uniform
