  3. What is up with people thinking people only play game for "plot". Alot of people play only for lore and stories and also world building. It has been great lately. I haven't pulled for a character in months and only play for story.

  8. Genshin story is as good as a 7/10 anime. It's not literal masterpiece ofc but they put efforts in the story and background lore of the world and world building and discussing the philosophy of the power system in it. Can't really say it's gonna be the "BEST STORY EVER" but it's decent writing. And mihoyo is better at writing the fun light-hearted stuff imo. Those are genuinely funny and entertaining. The darker lore can be cliché at times (typical human sacrifice stuff) but it does get better over time. Personally I play primarily for the elemental system and exploration. They gave a lot of thoughts into having u enjoy those. Those are better than the story which is already good even the puzzles are something that's genuinely challengingly fun and not just some math quiz shenanigans. A fan of your breakdown videos Nux, hopefully you give genshin another try or at least don't criticize it from only surface judgement for the sake of credibility.

  17. Well, Max0r is right. That green baby (nahida) you see is the god of wisdom and she is one of the best archon because she gave you information about your siblings, drop a lore bomb, have the best story, meta in game, and many more 🙂 soon she will have her 2nd story quest in 3.6 version.

  19. A lot people play genshin for the “PLOT” I play genshin for the actual plot and what I mean by that is the story I play it for the story, that’s why I play genshin cause I’m a big fan of lore and the lore in genshin is amazing and I mean the actual lore not booba

  21. I don't play Genshin for the plot, nor do I play for the "plot." I play Genshin because I'm hopelessly addicted to gambling and like the falling star animation, and it gives me a bunch of dopamine to see the golden one.

  27. If you want plot, you watch MoB’s playthroughs and streams. We’re the lorekeepers of the game, and it is our passion. There’s a very deep lore to everything, but the reason it’s hard to explain or understand is because it’s just mind-bending. Like, Kingdom Hearts mind-bending, or probably more so. I still believe it makes more sense than Kingdom Hearts, but there’s just SO MUCH more content than that game, that it’s harder to talk about. You can literally talk about it for a whole day.
    And yes, I’ve nearly 100% every region. I just have the latest area to complete.

  28. its pretty crazy how someone usually as based as nux who found the brilliance in the story of fucking eminence in shadow of all things cant find the obviously goated plot of genshin…i actually play for the story .the story is absolutely goated so far …..and i hope maybe one day nux stops being so one sided and actually tries going into it

  29. The Hu Tao rap only got screwed up in EN. KR is fine. JP and CN are best, though. You can watch all versions on YT. Except EN, only watched the version that was fixed by a fan.

  30. The only reason I'm playing Genshin is to see where the story goes. Seriously, Honkai Impact 3rd is so much better, except in open world. Genshin has a ways to go, and the team has to be more generous with rewards, less generous with RNG, and less afraid of the censors to get there. Max0r has teased HI3 in two of his videos now. Where is it, Max? You know the rules, and so do I.

  37. The "artifacts" are the stat boosting gear. They essentially drop with random state and get random stats as you lvl them up. You get them for "free" by just grinding the dungeons

  39. Max0r really knows how to make you wanna play a game. If I wasn't so opposed to gacha games, I'm pretty sure I'd love the rest of the game with all the exploration and stuff. Maybe I'll try it some day.
