If you like Hu Tao and are dedicated to learn and use Jump cancels then Hu Tao is worth it otherwise it's not.
If you like Yelan then she's worth it , otherwise you always have Xingqiu.

I want hu tao just to have her
2 lost 50/50's and a c1 Yoimiya was enough for me to give up on Hu Tao.
I am a Hutao haver but I have her benched. This is because I have a device on low spec side, and playing with her is not so fun (zooming to the very far end in her charge since my device won't let me jump cancel). Doing test run first to test the waters first is also a lesson learned for me.
What about blackcliff? Isn't that a good weapon for her as well?
Wait I still don't get it – been playing Hutao constantly in abyss ever since her first rerun, and jump cancel seems to work fine? Can anyone explain to me what makes C1 so strong?
I pulled Hutao in the early days – one of my first 5*. I really regret pulling her and wish I could trade her in. People might rave about her, but I just can't use her. I can't manage her Hp loss. I find her to hard to use – I use healers quite alot. or she just dies. I probably do something wrong I guess, but oh well
As much as I love the personalities and damage outputs of the pyro DPS queens (Hu Tao & Yoimiya), their on-field gameplay is pretty monotonous compared to alternatives such as Diluc, Yanfei, or even Klee.
I wish that their playful attitudes were somehow better expressed in their kits.

For mobile, you really should not pull her. Get Yoimiya instead.

Constellations take the fun out of the game if I got c1 I wouldn't have to worry about stamina anymore and so Hutao would have one less layer of depth and learning
Homa is a great weapon and makes it possible to turn characters into decent dps

I have yoimiya and i want hu tao but i kinda want machine gun yoimiya AAA this is so confusing idk who to pull and i have c6 xingqiu which makes it worse
Might be in the minority here, but I'm not pulling either Yelan or Hutao. But I'm pulling on the weapon banner, 50 pity and a guarantee of a banner weapon… either weapon will be for a DPS Collei or DPS Candace. Niche 4 star DPS characters for the meta someday… hahaha

I hope I can get her. I'll have to build my Xingqiu and I'm already lacking on resources, but she seems like the kind of character that I would enjoy playing as.
I might pull for c1 hutao instead because being a mobile player , canceling the charge is a bit hard to do 🥹 (or its just me)
I won’t be pulling for Hu Tao. I really like her as a character, but her gameplay is absolutely not for me. I also play on mobile a lot (the other time on PS4) and she is really not smooth to play on mobile unless you have C1. So unfortunately she will always be a skip for me, but all the best of luck to anyone pulling for her! I will skip the second banner entirely, so I send all my luck to you!
Hu tao is the main reason why I'm even interested in playing genshin in the first place. When she was first teased, I found out she's voiced by my favorite seiyuu (rie takahashi) and knowing more about her character reminded me of megumin (from konosuba, also voiced by rieri) but I wasn't able to continue my account back then. 6 months of playing from scratch, her banner is finally here! and with yelan and xinqiu too! I already have zhongli and am guaranteed to get her so my walnut team will soon be complete 🫶
Nah Hu tao aint worth it, if you want Hu tao to be properly usable, you have to have C1 and her weapon
God Tier video Hu Tao is who got me into the game a few months ago im so excited to be able to finally pull for her 20k primos saved atm for her hoping to get c1 but got to win 2 50/50s back to back
I only have 69 wishes and 43000 primos, ive been spending my resins with her artifacts and ascension materials. But now that her banner is just around the corner, I am already having second thoughts,
and I dont have a good shield character yet to party with her
