for some reason I got 3 metal keys. I found the third key, northwest from the first key on top of some crates. What is the third one for? Edit : after you release the dog, follow it. It will lead you to a precious chest
actually you need 3 metal keys a key for the dog a key for the seelie < in a hanging cage a key for the torn dairy < in another hanging cage on the opposite side and you need cage key, you can find it if you climb the tree
There's actually 5 Keys total on the island, 4 "metal keys": 1 for the dog, who leads you to a precious chest, 1 for the seelie for a common chest, 1 for a page for book crafting, 1 for a exquisite chest inside of a cage. There's also 1 "cage key" in the tree on top for releasing the guy out of his cage which starts a separate new quest for which you need to collect 4 stone slates. (and later a 5th one)
