I mostly play on mobile and still I am wishing for ganyu as I just like her design and I have a skyward harp
FOR USING GANYU A YEAR LONG, i can safely say consistency is above everything else, which she provides. in the dps and support roles alike. now she might fall off at some point but the fact remains is she still good at what she does even if there will be an upgraded option in the near future. Though, technically speaking when will that upgraded option comes out? and how long will you be able to make a good use of her for the primos you paying?

Atleast ganyu has artifacts sets to choose from and doesn't need a dedicated support to be good try to sell your ugly boy in a better way 😉
I wish I like aiming as much as I do auto attacks. It must be my eyesight or age, but I can't see the crosshairs easily. I miss sometimes. That's why I prefer Yoimiya over Ganyu.
We need a pyro Fischl to make melt Ganyu easier to play
If the Kazuha re-run rumors are true, I'll be skipping Ganyu for sure. I'm at a point in the game where I don't need Ganyu anymore, but I definitely want Kazuha because of his fun playstyle.

Ganyu’s problem is she has great multipliers on paper but very little quality of life capabilities and support character time creeping. As a result it takes a lot of effort to translate that multiplier into actual on field damage because you need to spend a lot of time on your other characters to spam skills that ensure Ganyu’s safety, and as a consistent type dps it’s bad news because it eats into your dps window. Characters like Itto, Hu Tao, Raiden, Eula etc does a lot of dmg in a small window of time. For Ganyu, even though her dps is high on paper, but because her dmg is spread out over long periods, any usage of support skills by her team mates means a dps loss on her side. Example let’s say Ganyu does 400k on charged shots and Ult in a period of 15-16 seconds, but because you can only fight in a 10 second window in order to let your supports spam skills, you have to reduce your total number of charged shots and maybe do only 280k personal damage. Mihoyo knows the advantages of burst type dps and that is why they allow Ganyu to have high multipliers, because your team mates will auto nerf your total damage output. In Morgana, Ganyu only fires 3 charged shots in the entire team rotation, even though on paper she can do more damage by shooting more. Even in a Melt Ganyu comp, you can only fire out 4-5 shots max per rotation. She has become lackluster in Abyss without melt, her damage is still ok but as far as mechanics go she has indeed been powercrept.
The opposite is true actually, she is getting better with each patch, she got kazuha and the reminiscent set, with the right setup in a melt comp she pretty much deals 90k to 120k per bloom charge attack, which is more than enough burst damage, The only downside is it's a pretty hard to play team. The actuall place she falls behind is the freeze team, her melt team is still one of the most high damaging teams in the game.
The only downside of ganyu is she is pretty boring to play as a dps.

Guys I need help, I have amos bow and idk who to pick ! Should I go for ganyu or kazuha in 2.5 ?
A lot of people try to avoid the fact that Ganyu only broken with the Amos Bow. Because without this bow she's doing almost 2 times less damage, it's ridiculous.
The meme would fit here would be "I so no god up here, other than ME". Yes she may not be improving but her ceiling is too damn high it would take years to have someone better than her. High Charge Attack damage that has no cooldown or her AOE burst that increase damage exponentially the more enemies are group together. Thats a beast
