What Happened to Paimon's Voice? (Genshin Impact)

As much as I like EN voice-overs this is probably the one I can’t stand anymore. She had a great voice in the early game, but now it is so high pitched that it is very uncomfortable to listen to. The voice is great but the pitch is too high. I hope you noticed it too.

  1. Whenever I hear english Paimon I can feel the voice actress' throat hurting just to get that high pitched voice.

But the JP voice feels so natural considering Aoi Koga voiced Kaguya. It feels so smooth.

All voices are great but I just love the delivery of the japanese voice actors/actresses!

  2. yes her voice change 🙁
i hate but…i don't know how say this but: digamos que me acostumbre a su voz de ahora pero prefiero la anterior, va mejor aunque la chillona tambien le pega porque toma un papel algo "infantil" a mi parecer

  3. I actually prefer the new voice. Less breathy and, plus there’s a bunch more spunk in it.

Now that I think of it – the performance of the newer one reminds me of the babies in Rugrats. Specifically tommy pickles. Not necessarily in sound and pitch, but more delivery wise. In a childlike – wonder type of way.

Whatever, I just like to think of it as Paimon changing over time as she learns more about the traveler and the situations in the world itself.
