I can't help but think that, sometimes genshin is just a place you can chill a talk, and then others tines it's the embodiment of that line from die hard "come out to the coast, we'll have a few laughs, sounds sweet, but noooo I'm stuck here in-" I don't remember the whole line
Tbh, i don't feel to emotional, maybe a little on nahida but just a little. Why? Because my expectations were higher genshin, i was ready to be sadge one more just from hearing a single line from a song? Why? "Never let you go." Honkai players will get it
Personally I Do wish the interesting/sad part of genshin involved the actual playable characters. All the cool stuff just tends to be uncovering lore/backstory and a more emotional past. The present is mostly slice of life and rushed stories with little character development or interesting conflicts.
Genshin needed more tragedy for me. But I don't think they would want to kill or permanently threat their gacha characters.
And it's hard to make interesting character arcs when they have to keep adding more characters. So all we get is non consequential plot and then slice of life.
The progression is genshin is the worst like a month and 10 days to possibly get an archon quest or a story quest its really bad not to mention how its gonna be boring to new players
I really love the genshin community. We have great streamers, tons of inside jokes, common enemies, and so many shared moments. I hear most of the bad apples can be found on twitter but Iโm pretty sure thatโs where you find the worst parts of every community. In real life, genshin players are A OK in my book.
