I had the privledge of being able to perform at the Genshin Impact Summer Festival this year and we played a bunch of songs from the game. This one was really fun, especially because when originally covering it, I was pretty sure I’d never want to play it live because it’s arrangement is very complicated. This is somewhat abridged but I still had a lot of fun doing it live.

I’m really happy to be able to share it with all of you. I’ve met so many of you at live shows over the years and I know not everyone can make it to the US to catch a show. Hope this is enjoyable, and if there’s enough interest, I’ll post more songs from the set including our rendition of Azdaha (Phase 2)!

  1. Jules, what I'm about to tell you, I say as someone who has followed your growth loosely but appreciatively for more than a decade now. That was rad, especially because it was live it really showed just how much effort you've put into this craft all this time, and whether it's Carlos Montoya or Eddie Vanhalen, they'd tell you the secret is precisely that, to take your guitar for walks, share candle-lit dinners with it, hold and cherish it while ignoring your lover at night, and never put it down, not even for the sake of holding your first-born child. Lastly, you have my respect for recognising the immense value of Japanese composers and musicians, but if you ever become a true weeab I'm going to Ted Kazinski a service/company/person you like. Congrats on the gig dude, you really earned it and it brightened my day to see you smash it.
