Because up until now, Hoyoverse havenโt provided any information about the 2nd Anniversary yet. The only official announcement about the anniversary is this fan art animation livestream event just like in the 2021. If you remember on the first Genshin Anniversary 1 year ago, there was an animated fan art livestream for about 2 hours streaming. for the 2nd anniversary HoYoVerse have officially announced a similar fan art animation compilation event. If you see here, the livestream will premiere on September 23 at 09:00 PM GMT +8, and the fan art animation event at 11:00 PM. and the Genshin anniversary online map will be unlocked on 19 September, we donโt know what map it is, it only says stay tuned. Thatโs it for the Genshin 2nd anniversary information, donโt expect too much about it, So last yearโs drama hopefully wonโt happen again. Maybe maximum rewards is 1600 Freemogems or Free Primogems divided in to 4 parts just like last year

Not defending hoyoverse but people expectation on this comment section are just really high. Like, have you guys even learn from past anniversarie? Seriously, stop watching those delusional youtubers that says we'll gets free 5* unit/weapon/unlimited primogems, we cant barely buy a single intertwined fate a day buy how much primogems we earn.
I think they should have the genshin community vote for a 5* in the standard banner. Once the votes have been tallied, whoever wins is the free 5* character everyone gets for genshin if they log in during a certain period of time for the anniversary. Sort of like how FE Heroes does CYL.

I for one really liked these rewards.
It should at least be double of last year's rewards but instead of 2 wing gliders a anniversary banner instead or a free standard banner 5* weapon.
