I somehow expected Fontaine to be based on Venice. That was a place with lots of murky waters, if you catch my meaning…
Speaking of research, I hate publish or perish! as it results in PhDs being forced to work until they burn out and their stress, lack of sleep, and time pressure results in a lot of preventable accidents. If you add to this having to turn every coin, you get a recipe for disaster! I know people who nearly died because the group cheaper out on a few dollars of tube clamps! On top of all this: all results count and not publishing bad results causes others to waste their time (and money) to repeat the same mistakes. Lastly, this mentality clearly provides an environment for corruption and fraud…
Im do happy we have this narration now cause I like to listen while cleaning the house
4:13 probably the Fatui again. This isn’t a shallow claim either the game confirms through story and dialogue that each nation getting screwed over somehow is half the archon having problems and half the fatui causing said problems. Venti and zhongli cornered by signora, scaramouche producing delusions and trying to reaspark the resistance. etc.
I wonder how complicated fontaine would be. Imagine quests involving puzzles like creating counter-affidavit while battling the boss
All I am looking forward to fontaine it’s the huge fish variety I bet they have over there
Yeaaa more Lumine being the Guide for today video.
I want to see a Hilichurl on trial
patrice is lying to lumine
Cheaper. sound about right in Liyue.
So fontaine will punishment all wrong action
Actually… Research is important in Sumeru because knowledge is practically counted as currency in Sumeru… Why else Sumerians are so obsessed with research?
i love how u make this video (☆▽☆)
My god don't tell me we need to fix another region
Everyone literally forgot about xavier in inazuma
As a student who was always carried by my fellow students on our research plan, Research itself was sacred! (Patrice, 2022)
Ooh the seperation thing reminds me of the two cities in Arcane, forgot the names but its related to Lol lore
I kind of think that the criminals are rebelling, as the fontain's justice isnt real, and probably reflects the hydro slimes connecting to the archon trapping people, meaning the archon sends the rebels into prison lmao
Fontaine gives me Bioshock 3 vibes
What if in fontaine there will be something like Grand French Revolution…
Fontaine chapter: Ace Attorney featuring Yanfei
The additional factors are just waiting to make majority of the people as guilty
Lumine is so smart
il pleut des cordes
Can't wait for Fontaine's story arc to be Ace Attorney all over again
Lol the undiscovery channel xD
Isnt Fontaine the nation of Justice though…and I'm guessing for their story the justice system will be corrupt or something. So it makes sense they won't logic their way out of everything. When it comes to research everything you gain from that research is considered a result, hence why we have a hypothesis and a null hypothesis to prove the possibility that the hypothesis will be wrong. That way if you conduct an experiment and the results arent met you have a source of error. So this theory makes sense, cause if you tell a system of justice you need money to do an experiment they are funding you for the results and thus if the results arent met the researcher technically broke the contract. So its more business than research funding tbh.
It also seems that Liyue and Fontaine have close contacts and thus the hydro archon may have been influenced a great deal by Rex Lapis considering that the justice system revolves around contracts. Thus, in order to gain funding, you signed a contract giving your word to produce specific results and if those results arent met, you technically broke the contract and that's illegal
This actually makes sense, Fontaine having a really sharp eye of justice because in the Official Story Preview, Fontaine's introduction is as follows:
Act VI: Masquerade of the Guilty
The God of Justice lives for the spectacle of the courtroom, seeking to judge all other gods
I love the Lumine commentary!
uugh… I can already imagine Fontaine is actually a harsh place to live, you need to be spotless in order to have good or even just decent life
I love how they randmoly added french sentences
Love the video! It's nice to hear a voice
Also am I the only one who's dying with the NPC's comments??

Kaushik has to be my fave "you're unknown God hits him ok fine… You're paimon"
And "new abble phone 13"
Hellow cwbh
I hv a wild theory about the world of teyvat, if you will reaad it-
So there is a theory that teyvat is actually upside down. There are a lot of proofs if we consider these-
1 Scaramouch says this"The stars the sky it's all a gigantic hoax, a lie" The sky can be an illusion set up to prevent people from seeing that teyvat is actaully upside down. later mona also talks about the false sky
2 {I saw this one somewhere} If spiral abyss is an underground organisation then why do we ascend in it and not descend. After floor 1 floor 2 should be below it not above.
3 In albedo's teaser at Mondstad is shown to be upside down for a second at 1.15 (albedo is an alchemist who wants to know the truth of the world)
4 in gorou's mischelly dainself says this "if one day the world is turned upside down will his instincts and ……." (now this could be for the sake of the video but that's unlikely because these lines were written to give few hints at the lore, so it is possible that dainself is actually hinting that teyvat is upside down.)
5 venti's upside down statue
6 An ancient city under the chasm (it can be the only straight city in teyvat while everything rest being upside down. Also if dainself doesn't know about these ruins and if the assumption that dainself gets his info from leylines is correct then maybe this city existed before leylines.)
please please reply on what you think cwbh
