  1. The Natlan is too straightforward and simple both the main plot and the storytelling.

And what Doro missing is true conflict. There're no antagonist, no bad guys at all, no human conflict, no one who opposite to Mavuikas plan.

They should added a group of traitors, who lost their hope and was corrupted by abyss, and trying to interfere.

  2. Honestly natlan was just weird. The timing on everything was questionable and 5.2 being a dead patch didnt help the finale come less out of nowhere.
I like the characters, I like the events but the connecting parts in between were just baffling.
Introduction>big war>recovery from the war> going straight to the final boss.
The abyss also massively lacked personality as the antagonist of the story when there are plenty of abyss characters who do have minds of their own.

Just can't really compare to fontaine or sumeru because of how memorable their first acts were.

  3. I just love spoilers, but as a F2P, AR50 and still in Sumeru, I still feel like a excited beginner when I play the game myself and watch everything happen, even if I'm spoiled, it still satisfies me and makes me feel like a beginner when I do the original storyline myself🤩😗😆

  4. Well, i feel that the Natlan AQ in general, is great. Tho, i already predicted that Capitano is going to sacrifice himself at act 4 when talking to Lord of the Night, and mentions of Mavuika's fate is pointed to death for using Lord of the Night's power. What solidifies it is the banner reveal of Mavuika, i was like, "that's it, capitano gonna sacrifice himself, and Mavuika lives."

Thought it would be better if they introduce Mavuika's banner later so it doesn't reduce to stakes.

  5. I have to say I'm a little disappointed with the last act.

the ending was awesome. but Capitano's end came too quickly

There were 2 hours of unnecessary dialogue at the beginning that could have been used to give Capitano more screenetime

  6. Watch all these content creators continue to not do explorations and quests for the rest of Genshin…its literally free content and makes up the core of Genshin but all these streamers want to do is Abyss optimization and wordle

  7. I'm pretty sure Natlan people could fix their shit without MC, totally unnecessary involvement, non stop glazing and other bs, holding sword together, wow, THIS CHANGING EVERYTHING. I would enjoy the story much more if we were just bystanders, watching story evolve by itself, not another Dovahkiin bullshit.

  8. I think the problem I have with Natlan is that it felt like it didn't have stakes. And I'm not saying it didn't have stakes. It had stakes. To me the problem was that it didn't feel like there were stakes. I think one of the reasons for this was the music. During the final battle with the abyss the music that was playing made u feel like "we are winning!", so it never makes u feel like there is actually any danger despite what the characters say. Also, everything just went exactly according to plan, so that removed the fear of uncertainty and unknown that Fontaine had. In Fontaine those unknown factors made the final act feel like it had a lot more stakes. Cuz u had no idea if u actually were gonna succeed or not. I enjoyed the way act4 was handled a lot cuz it still had that uncertainty but act 5 was severely lacking in this regard. In Sumeru everything also went according to plan but there the game still kept u on your toes, by not letting the player know the plan.

Also, I think the constant celebrations really ruined the mood. I'm fine with celebrations, but I think they should be kept to the end of acts. Not in the middle. It splits the conflicts in half which makes each conflict feel shorter and have less impact. Not to mention Act 5 in Natlan was shorter than both Sumeru and Fontaine's act 5.

Another thing is that to people who didn't do the tribal quests and world quests Natlan is pretty confusing. I think Fontaine did a better job at both including stuff for the lore players that read every book, while still being easy to understand and enjoy for those who aren't.

And the final thing is Captiano's sacrifice felt very out of nowhere. He was absent pretty much the entire act and then shows up to die. I'm certain they could've built that up a bit more. It happened pretty quickly and was accepted too fast.

  9. Honestly, I'm a lore skipper. So I rewatch you doing 5.3 quest, so now I understand the quest.

I think I have the same thought with you, Fontain is the best.

It's not really Challenging but there are a lot of sacrifices.

    Maybeeeee a 7/10

  10. I realy liked this quest. I agree that a lot of nothing happened in natlan but still it was very good.👍 Story wise after fontain this is my favorite, but region wise natlan is the best in my oppinion. Also I would like to see Cap playable😭

  11. i’m so mad i didn’t finish all of the tribal quests, i knew they were story quests and wanted to save them, i had no idea and as someone who loves interactions during main quests i was definitely upset 😭😭😭

  12. With that chapter it's almost set in stone for me.
Natlans archon quest is either my absolute favourite of them all or my second favourite.

Literally only Fontaines archon quest can even compete with this one in my opinion

  13. 3:12:50 No! NOT AURORON! Capitano wanted his own death. He wanted to get rid of the curse of immortality, and at the same time put to rest the hundreds of souls that he carried within himself! Respect other people's wishes.

  14. I think it would be better if the war in act 4 (5.1) was combined with 5.3, so we have a long war in the outside world and immediately continue fighting in the night kingdom against the boss, bring out all the tension first then celebrate at the end.

this one has too many celebrations after each battle.

for example in act 5 fontaine, the story is very focused on furina and continues until it is really finished including fighting the boss.

imagine if the boss in fontaine was fought in the next patch, it wouldn't be felt, like that's all?, just like in 5.3 it's an epic boss battle, but is that it?
