Crystalflies need to chill out and stop straightening their hair.
One path I usually take is the inside and outside of Amakumo Peak on Seirai Island. There is a decent amount of crystalflies and it's easy to grab them as they are either alone or close together in pairs.
I did one thing which ik is pointless but glad I did, which was collecting crystal flies for nearly a week before sumeru, haven't collected more since then yet I always have more than I need even till now I still have close to 300 crystal flies

can you do farm routes for mobs which have every mob in game which can be a good daily thing to do like yaoguang shoal in leyue
There's a couple more spots in Sumeru: the entrance of the cave to the Jadeplume Terrorshroom (NOT the portal entrance – the overworld cave mouth) and the Vanarana Tree of Life. At least six more crystalflies that aren't too difficult to get.
id say a good lazy farming would be to just do the noble doamin and the tp above it daily
In noblesse domain u can get 7 crystal fly u missed so many and they are easy
My strategy for collecting crystal flys is just picking up any that I can conveniently get my hands on while doing other things. This strategy hasn’t failed me yet.

I almost never use crystal flies so i just have six hundred in my inventory
An honorable mention useful character: Itto. He's taller than the other characters so has a larger grab-range for crystalflies. I p much only farm guyun stone forest and 2 waypoints in sumeru and with itto I can grab every crystalfly in guyun
Bonus tip for the desert: a LOT of the dunes when broken spawn 2 Crystalflies a pop.

Can you make a video about ore mining spots next time? Its very annoying to figure them out, especially since most of the good ones are in the chasm, and there are no ore waypoints there
be sure to pull the wings off the crystal flies before you use them in alchemy
2:00 if you dont wanna interact with the statue, try to catch the flies while jumping. it doesnt let you interact with the statue while youre in the air

Another good farming spot is Kannazuka; however, it demands you to first do the Inazuma side quest with the lightning bolt trees and the one with the woman who is trying to plant a garden close to the Statue of the Seven. Once you do those, you can warp there, run up past the electrograna dispenser to where the woman is and around her flower field will be several crystal flies. Afterwards you just run onward until you hit the edge of the platform where the lightning tree is and several crystal flies will be flying around there too. I'd wager it's a total of 10 crystal flies that you can easily and quickly get, plus some boars, onikabuto (Itto is grateful) and 2 Kairagi.
There is hidden route in inazuma in tatarasuna mikage funace they are hidden in every bridge 2 flies appear if you are near you can get like 15+ crytalflies. Also above the furnace there this tree surrounded by flies and mined materials

If you jump you can collect ones near the Statue, because you can't interact with the statue while jumping
Funny if we are going with the description that crystalflies are attracted to elemental energy, there are a lot of anemo crystalflies on the Dawn Winery. Venti and his alcoholism.
But the sweet thing about it is there's a lone crystalfly next to an apple tree near Mondstat. And in that particular place, you could see the place perfectly. Even though he is not ruling, he is always watching.
