Genshin Impact 5.1 has some pretty stacked banners with Xilonen and Nahida. There’s also Chiori and Hu Tao to talk about. In this video, I go over the investment priority for each of the these characters and my opinion on whether or not you should pull for them.

  4. my hiperbloom c1 nahida team is still the strongest team i have, doing 32k on each seed, so i'm gonna pull c2 to be even stronger! laver i will have mavuika to make the dream Mualani team. xilonen wiil come another day.

  21. If you have Xianyun then c1 Hu Tao isn't worth it. Running Hu Tao in a CA jump cancel into plunge is easy and very effective. I actually find it quite fun.
    Overall, this is basically my perspective on the banners:
    Xilonen – If you have a decently established late game account or are lacking good supports then she is a great pull. Not as great for early game players, but still a good pull
    Hu Tao – If you don't have a pyro DPS, good pull. CA play style will feel clunky though. She does good enough damage at any level of an account.
    Nahida – Good early game and hyperbloom can easily carry until other characters are build. However her value falls off once the account builds up a wider assortment of characters. Basically, only pull her if your favorite characters can make good use of dendro.
    Chiori – She is pretty. Pull her if you like her, she is a decent off-field DPS. But most teams have better options.

    Weapon banner 1 – If you pull Xilonen, have the primos to burn, and don't already have Uraku, then it is very much worth it. Uraku is a very good sword for any sword DPS that isn't attack scaling. However, it is weapon banner, so isn't as worth it unless you want to invest more in specific characters. Sacrificing pulling for another character to be able to afford to pull on the weapon banner is rarely worth it.
    Weapon banner 2 – Not worth pulling on. Homa is a nice universal stat stick, but should only be pulled if using on Hu Tao. Also, since Nahida has fallen in value, it is even more not worth pulling on it to get her weapon. Only consider pulling on it if you main Nahida or Hu Tao.

    But always pull for what you personally want to pull for. Games are meant to be fun, so do whatever you find most fun. Personal enjoyment should always be the top reason for pulling for a character or weapon.

  24. I pulled both Xilonen C0 and Chiori C0 and their Weapons. I started with Uraku Misugiri andwon it. Changed the Path to Peak Patrol Song and lost again to Uraku Misugiri. Since I like Navia I am debating of getting Chiori C1 and maybe even C2. But I am not sure if C2 is that big of an increase. Xilonen C2 also looks tempting. I already have Nahida C2 and Hu Tao C1, but am missing Nahidas Weapon (already got Staff of Homa, which my Zhongli uses). So I will probably (or maybe definitely) skip 5.2.
