yes his right hand was burned by his friends vision
yes I was in fact, blind while watching the cutscene from his quest
EDIT: WAIT BUT IT WAS BANDAGED BEFORE I'M NOT JUST CRAZY https://youtu.be/_qTNkcy_7Y4?t=27
(I think this is part of the reason why I never noticed it)
probably just an inconsistency error though lol
Slash of a thousans leaves would've sounded way cooler ngl
Honestly I love these analysis of the characters, I wish more people would do the things that you do. 👍
awesome character design, learned a lot!
respect for you for figuring this out, i hope you make this kind of videos for other inazuma characters or if possible all other characters too, goodluck man
7:45 Wind or Wild?
I really like every character’s constellation names like Kazuha has the ‘Acer Palmatum’
I feel the amount of effort and passion Mihoyo puts into each character, gets it's purpose when people like you take the time to show every last details to everyone. I totally love watching these detailed designs and learning them from you.
I love your character detail breakdown video but why you just make 3 out of 33 character in genshin impact. Can you please make a detail video for other 30 too? Please…
Really nice video. Tks Flaim
Great and in-depth video! Kazuha is by far my favorite character design-wise
I love how extensively researched his design elements are
His right hand is bandaged because his friends vision burnt it
That's not the reason his hand was bandaged 😢poor kazuha
I don't think people realize just how much love and care is put into every character's design and gameplay, I love seeing all the details on each character!
Normies: hes a Japanese Canadian hot boy
RedFlaim: False, he is the first true weatherman…
So he is a Japanese Aether?
It's pretty and everything, and I like how miHoyo is taking care so the Nations match or are related to the traditions and culture they're inspired on. But I think Kazuha's name it's a little too long. It could be perfectly normal in the time of history they're located, but i believe according to modern standarts. It's just a guessing though, I don't know Japanese, it's juts that I've heard many names
I have a big Japanese maple in my backyard:D
If i don't get him I will be sooo sad please for the love of God I beg you give me kazuha
I think the reason kazuha has those bandages on his hand is because in his trailer, when he grabbed his friend's dying vision, it burned his hand. He didn't want to let it go so he kept holding it as he ran, probably leaving permanent damage on his arm and hand.
I don’t care abt the eastern maple thing. I will forever refer kazuha as Canadian aether.
I prefer to read kazuha's burst as "Manyou no Ittou" since "kazuha slash" is kind of off putting but I guess they had to translate it for it to be easier to read
I really like how his main color is red despite being anemo, the maple leaf explanation helped a lot thx! 😊
kazuhas bandaged hand has been burned while holding onto tomos vision which is why he has them
talent names
kazuha slash: cringe as fuck what the hell
Like your video !!! Very informative and easy to understand. Good job keep it up. Hope to see more Genshin videos from you.
No one realized that he had a clover knot at the top of his chest, the clover knot is named for its resemblance to the clover leaf. Like its namesake, this knot is used as a symbol of good luck for the wearer.
It's incredibly stupid how uptight some people are about others making jokes about Kazuha being Canadian, or people disliking the asymmetry of Kazuha's display name compared to others. It's straight up just people wanting to feel superior by being "Uhm, ackshually…" nerds about it.
1. If you're complaining about people joking about Kazuha being Canadian on a majority Westerner platform… You're fucking stupid. People are always going to relate their experiences to what they grew up with. If you don't want that shit, go on Japanese 2chan or some shit. And also, newsflash, people of other ethnicities also do this. Japanese relate Western culture to their own experiences all the time.
2. Guess what. Some people can dislike the aesthetic of something and not give a shit about its cultural significance. Nobody is obligated to like anything just because it might be culturally significant. If I think some architecture looks really bad, I'm not gonna be like "Oh sorry, I can't say I dislike it because it has cultural significance starting all the way from the Edo period." Like fuck off.
Great job on those translations!! This is one of the hardest to translate for sure!
Just a quick correction. The name of c3 is 楓袖奇譚. 奇譚 is read as ki't'an. 譚 itself has a meaning of a story tale. But this is one of the very advanced kanji so don't worry for the mistake. I really appreciate all of your work.
As a Chinese. A lot of content in your video. I feel very kind.
Because in Chinese history. All contain these. For example, the binding of armor. Rope knot. arch bridge. Pot art. Samurai sword. Building mode. Bar pattern. Too much. .
So the Chinese are very kind to Japan. The Japanese hate the Chinese.
In ancient times. . Asia = Chinese Civilization Circle
Koreans hate Chinese people even more. . Because of their museum artifacts. They themselves cannot read the text above. And we can
1000 leaf slash should've been the english name of the ult it actually makes sense for english speaking players and sounds way coolee
Im freaked out how much effort you do for this videos…
I like the theory of the bandanges in his hand to protect his dominant hand, but can be also of the vision of his friend that burned his hands, like is showed in his trailer.
9:42 千山万水, pretty sure its a chinese idiom, the source I can find is the poem《寄维阳故人》:离别河边绾柳条,千山万水玉人遥。
since this was written in the Tang dynasty, its about 1.5k years old
I’m guessing this video was made before Kazuha’s quest came out. So ima just say that the bandages on his hand come from holding his (dying) friends burning vision :’)
(amazing vid btw <3)
this is the best video ive ever watched on genshin. good job
I don't know if anyone has pointed this out but, Kazuha's C6 might mean that Kazuha goes from being passive to aggressive, since blood red probably means the blood of his opponents while maple leaves can pertain to Kazuha himself. The effect of C6 backs this up, since it turns Kazuha into a DPS from a support in the game
I love kazuhas design! Um but does anyone know what that puffy white ball is? Does it mean anything? Did I miss it somewhere in the video? I would be shocked cus I watched over this video twice because I love watching red flaim.
Slash of a thousand leaves is already a thousand times better than kazuha slash tho. Mihoyo shoulda hired you for the translation.
apparently the reason he has a full name is cause hes a samurai & back then only important ppl deserved one
WAIT- ok the part about where it can be read as manyou? In the Japanese version (don’t know sb ult others since I only play in Japanese) he occasionally says “MANYOU!” During his skill, I’m not sure if pressing and holding cause different voice lines to appear but they DO appear at times when I just happen to notice
