Great video, I couldn't help but notice that you were only doing charge attacks with childe, and your stamina was always low. Lol
On C, his cool down only gets reduced by 10 sec when you automatically switch back to range from meele. It's proof that you don't need his c1, since the cooldown reduce scales on percentage.
my c0 childe teams got be a better time on floor 12 than both ganyu c1 with Amos and Hu tao with homa. just swaped homa to xianling. Childe might not be the strongest but he enables your supports to deal insane dmg in bursts. Got a 23 sec clear on 12-3 because of him . He is great

I'd like him but man I want zhongli or klee or eula. If he played like c6 at c0 yeah I'd easily get him, I don't even mean the damage just the CD on his E being reset.

I have 58 pulls saved up fro him but no pity since I got hu tao and kinda regretting it since I was saving up for childe but his banner was announced after I pulled her 🙁 Hu tao is really great tho

c0 childe has all the potential to be a main dps, some people just can't play without braindead gameplay
also his playstyle is super fun in my opinion

C0 and C6 is just like playing a different characters. if you have a well composed team, and know how to rotate skills, C0’s skill cooldown shouldn’t be a problem.
The team that i used to melt spiral abyss floor 12 is fischl(C6/if you don’t have C6, beidou might be better), Xiangling(C3), Bennet(C6), and Childe(C0). I’m not a spender btw, so i have mid weapons and artifacts. So the idea of using C0 Childe is to amplify the damage of your other burst support DPS, in this case Xiangling and Fischl. Childe attacks and apply hydro really fast, he can make every pyronado hit vaporize, and can abuse Fischl C6 ability. Bennet is there to charge Xiangling and being bennet you can set-up the usual burst combo with Childe(Bennet’s Q followed up with Childe’s Q). And since my Bennet’s C6, whenever Childe’s on the cooldown, my Pyro Xiangling can just normal attack the enemies for no downtime.
For childe and fishcl combo, should use the new event weapon or another 4 star?
All characters on my teams need to be capable of dps so his CD is not an issue for me. I can just switch to the other characters.
The only thing I dont like about not c6 childe is that it you have to be so precise with ur timing cuz If u time it incorrectly u will be locked out of melee mode and those few seconds ur locked out . U feel so shitty.
Childe is so Good He carry my team before I got a new 5 Star

My Childe is C0 I didn't have problem at all.
My Childe use Stringless (150k – 200k Damage) in Vaporize.
Problem of new Childe wannabe is Timing of E.
Childe + Bennett + Hu Tao is good team.

I think people forget the difference between AMAZING constellations and REQUIRED constellations. Childe comes with a lot of constellations that are absolutely AMAZING for him, but NONE are required. He will still do amazing dps with or without cons.
I want him to basicly smash him together with zhongli and albedo. 4 place is replaceable with benny or beidou. The idea was an ult spam build on both and zhong basicly as main dps, but since he wont hit as hard as childe it is good to have like a ultra power card with childe and beidou or benny when ever i have to clean up faster, in this case i could realy imagine that the long cd won't bother me at all and its bursty as hell. I will surely try to get more cons for zhonglis wallet in the future non or less

Well the "honest"part is mostly 1 sided,yes he dish out a lot of damage but it needs very good artifact and literally ether 5 star weapon or weapon with crit damage or crit rate.
At best he's below all other main DPS and ok in sub DPS for f2p,so if your going for him thinking he's really strong for f2p or that he's on par with other dps then your gonna be disappointed.
Childe is a powercrept unit. Just skip him if you dont like his character. Totally not worth it especially if you dont have zhongli already. Rumors are he's right after childe banner again
So it's only worth getting Childe as main dps, if I have an 4*/5* weapon, which increases my crit rate/damage? ( I was planning to use the bow, which you can buy with the event tokens for him, since It is the only 4* bow I have. )

after using Childe C0 (lv90 full build 65c/170cdmg) for many months – i can say that BP Weapon is atleast as good as a 5 Star weapon – thats good for C0 players. The possibilities with that weapon is ridiculous. His Damage is Top Tier (after Ganyu/ Hutao) – same level as Diluc (means Top 5 DPS)
His gameplay is the most satisfying playstyle we have right now – u see so man numbers and explosions while he is in his E – especially with the BP weapon ~~
What is bad: His cooldowns. U basically need a skill- spamming team to fill the 12-15sec void when his e is on CD.
Is he recommended: Honestly? No. Ganyu is better longterm investment, Hutao is better, Venti is better, Zhongli is better and probably every new char they will release next is better. If u need a 5 Star to clear abyss 12:3 9 star reliably RIGHT NOW – he can help – long term he might be the worst investment you can do with primos as of this moment – but dont forget – Abyss gives ~800 Primos a month so the faster u can clear it the more you get back.
My Build for Childe:
Childe + Xinggue +Bennett + Xingling –
Xinggue gives 20% water shred, single target dps childe needs desperately
Xingling gives consistant vaprosize procs for her and Childe which doubles the damage of her and Childe -try to get her Q ready for childes E phase (12 sec)
basically childe + Fischl or Xingque or Xingling is really strong – alone he cant do much
He´s ok I have him but my xiao and Hu tao are just way stronger he got outscaled by other chars that´s his biggest Problem.
Hmm, many people are saying, he is outdamaged by other DPS, the fact is that he is a DPS that deals fast and consecutive dmg and its not really the numbers that count. Tartaglia mains do a lot and a hell lot of dmg, consecutive 7k-8k is an incredible lot of dmg. His best weapon rn is Rust, which is made for him, and increases his dmg by a lot. Overall, C0 Childe is a great main DPS, just run a sub DPS with him during his cooldown. My brother runs a C0 Childe with r2 Rust, and he's incredibly insanely powerful, (yes he does Ganyu lvl dmg, just he dont show numbers, as I said). He is one of the hardest characters to use, given you have to keep sprinting, and dodging and kill everything before you go into cooldown. One of the best DPS to run is Tartaglia, especially if you like a fun playstyle. That is what C0 Childe is played as. Consts are just there to make it all easier. C0 Childe is still easily one of the best units to have.
