Disclaimer: I am not an historian, I did some research about the names but I'm not claiming that it's 100% accurate for some of them.
Pronunciation should still be accurate
I also haven't done the Archon quest yet so maybe there were a few more in there that I missed
Edit: oh my god I didn't expect the vid to explode like this, thank you for subscribing and liking the video it means a lot!
Does he even understand that Fontaine is french AND britain AND italian?
french 👎
omg i liked to much your voice !! jsjsj
Manet was a painter, I think
love when a new region drops and people from the country it’s inspired by read the absolutely ridiculous npc names. i remember there was an npc in sumeru called ‘srimati” which is like being named “mrs.” not even mrs. something just mrs. that’s it that’s her entire name
Personally, I think this was a very entertaining and informative video, and I enjoyed watching through the whole thing. Ty for teaching us lol!
In Ukraine olivier is a salad 🥗
but you sound like an Anglais person to ne.
5:15 So Poisson mean 🐟? I'm curious. how it becomes poison to an Englishperson?
Neuvillette. Maybe it's to denote the fact that he's the de facto Prime Minister in Fontaine.
HELPPP PATE DE FRUIT. ..
3:36 I'm in tears XD
Lmao learning French 😊
Great.. At least I learn something..
Mes amis et moi sommes tous du Québec, et on riais à voir tout les noms en "[..]eau". Ah oui, le summum du français!
Je suis aussi profondément outrée que Focalors soit prononcé avec un s. Faut suivre les règles du français ou pas haha
8:09 pls tell this is a pokemon xy reference, right at the beggining of the game we meet our mother's pokemon on the mini front garden and its also a rock type one that I forgor the name.
I would have known you are french if you didn't wear those clothes!
Navia only person i can do easy
I didn't know Marc Rebillet play Genshin too
no cuz the guy named "livre", the dog named "baguette" and literally a whole town or whatever thats called "poisson" had me CACKLING
In most cases, in french, if two "L" are preceded by a "i" we pronounce "ye". That's why I was always pronouncing "Neuviyette" until I heard that it was supposed to be "Neuvilette".
isnt Manet a french painter?
Where's Mbappe?
Love the Vid Kome 💜
Mdrr le début rien que la marseillaise nannn 😂😂 jpp
I might be crazy but my east Asian ears think French sounds more similar to Arabic than to English
Appreciate you❤
Thank you
I studied French for at least 3 years at school. This is the first time I ever enjoyed it. Fun vid, all the way to the end. "Ready to become French". Lol
"denouement" (15:35) does exist in English, obviously taken directly from French | dā″noo͞-mäɴ | noun
1. The final resolution or clarification of a dramatic or narrative plot.
2. The events following the climax of a drama or novel in which such a resolution or clarification takes place.
3. The outcome of a sequence of events; the end result.
How do you say "Pneuma and Ousia"
Especially Ousia.
And what the hell does it mean? Whole video on pronunciation of "Ousia" will be great, thanks!
ty for clearing the names 🎉🎉
ohhhhh so thats why in the trailer focalor said her name as foçalor. ohhhhhhh
