miHoYo is no more! Hoyoverse will become the new developer for all miHoYo’s product, like Genshin Impact, Tears of Themis, Honkai Impact, Honkai Star Rail, and N0va Desktop. Now that we’re into the Hoyoverse, what will become of miHoYo? Don’t we also have Cognosphere? What will happen to our primogems??

  1. HoYoverse is Mihoyo's rebrand name for MiHoYo international branding outside China. It is still Mihoyo's but rebrand. The company will continued to be called miHoYo in China while it will be called Holoverse for International. HoYoVerse is still MiHoYo. 小心你的虚假信息年轻人

  2. Instead of Metaverse they made Hoyoverse so they can create SAO alicazation type of virtual world they even said that they were planning on making this kind of sword art online type of game.

  3. For anyone hoping this helps Mihoyo getting around China's strict gaming regulations and them start making sexy characters again without being censored, you can now give up the thought.
They're partnered with the CCP and when they made cognosphere and everyone hoped this would allow them to get around the regulations, it was already proven none of that was happening. This act is probably just to expand their business and nothing more.

  4. Why is it a big deal? Obviously hoyoverse is still a mihoyo company, its just a brand for their globalisation. Basically it's still mihoyo, being "hoyoverse" indicating that they are actually expanding but not changing.

  5. Oh no TT I missed seeing MOHOYO when logging in to genshin and now it's changed….

MIHOYO sounds like a person's name. When complaining, should I shout and blame "HOYOVEEEERSE!!!" now instead of "MIHOYOOOO T^T"

I'm not used to it. I still want to be able to shout "wtf MIHOYO WHYYYYYY" when losing pity, or whatever complaints I have. But now it's changed to HOYOVERSE

  6. If bandai namco owns genshin, then you can spend 100k mora or 90 intertwined fate to unlock any character you want, on the a wish menu then another exclusive called "black market" which essentially to purchase rarest weapons. Such as Wolf's Gravestone which it cost; 750k mora or 50 intertwined fate. Also can be purchase talent materials and ascension materials that cost; 2k mora then a new system called mora exchange, at the a shop on Paimon's bargain that include 1 Qty Hero's Wit = 25 mora, 1 Qty = 105k mora, 5 Qty Mystic Enhancement Ore = 1.6k mora. Maximum purchase is 100

  7. This analysis is inaccurate. It is common for companies to get around strict regulations in China by having another publisher. But in MHY's case this is different. You need to remember that MHY is at the end a Chinese company HQ-ed in China. On top of that, the founders (and probably most of its employees) are Chinese citizens. China doesn't run on a system where, "We don't care what you do outside China, we only care what you do inside." They care about how things are presented both inside and outside. Like what I tell many people, the government can't legally touch Cognosphere. However, they can make MHY in China a living hell.,

  8. Bytedance did the same thing for Tik Tok and created a daughter company called TikTok Pte Ltd that seemed global, at the end of the day they’re still under the thumb of the CN authorities, same things would goes for Mihoyo I think
