  1. About Fortnite, there is a competetive event called FNCS with huge prices. Like the Fortnite worldcup but smaller. When the Fortnite worldcup was hold, 2 million (new source says 40 million)people signed in and participated. In the last FNCS the number of particpants was about 70.000. Still high but in comparison to the peak of Fortnite…

    I'll maybe edit this one

  2. I would say that the story and new characters makes genshin popular even today (maybe leaks too). People may quit but mostly will see the livestreams just to be updated to what is new and it will be the talk of the social media.

  4. You forgot Roblox, Asmond did this some days ago and Roblox is incredibly sky high, Genshin cannot even see it in the air. Genshin is ok, but it's boring again as always. You get an uodate and it's good for a week and then everything else is waiting for the next update and new characters to pull.

  5. I would like to of seen how popular gta 5 is lol but yea it's true, I'm not a big anine guy but that's not my draw in to genshin anyway, it just has a fun unique playstyle with some cool looking characters and got me away from onigiri, well for awhile but now with lack of content I've been slowly going back

  6. As a former injustice 2 mobile player, Genshin is dope. Not to mention it perfectly managed to incorporate a mobile version that is not different from the pc/console versions. A big drawback is Injustice was the mobile version had nothing on the console version – so it felt like you were missing out on a lot of gameplay from the console. None of that on genshin, so with some further improvements it will definitely draw in even more players – new or old.

  7. Now ask yourself: how much genshin ads have you seen over the last year (i saw 30+) and how much fortnite ads have you seen (2, only during new seasons).

    Genshin is dying everyday.
They loose thousands of players every day. Quess what, it doesnt matter.
They throw new players inside a filter/sieve.
All the whales and addicted players get stuck in the filter/sieve and 80% of the rest falls through the sieve and quits.

After those 2 years they have a full net of whale/addicts including me.
All people who have either accepted the boring non existent end content or are paying 200$ every month to overcome the boredom by design.

You dont like your boring life/game, here drink some alcohol/do some gambling. The game is boring on purpose. Cause they have realised "bored people spend more money to overcome the boredom". Many players get used to the short 30min/day play time and dont pay a dime. So they throw events at you to penetrate your shield. "Hey, yesterday i had fun and could play for 2hours, why i'm bored again. I want this feeling back, maybe if i pay 200$ and pull yelan i can play again."
If the game would realy succeed, the numbers should go up and shouldnt stay below fortnite after spending 10 times more for ads than fortnite.

  8. This is why I laugh anytime people say the game is dying/dead or needs to change quickly to survive, it's not even close. The game is doing just fine, people just want their clickbait titles.

  9. what exactly does google trends even measure? speaking from experience, as a casual player who plays on mobile, i can't remember the last time i need to google something genshin related. Once you know how stuff works, there is very little reason you need to google something for genshin unless you need like a build guide but you can figure that out on your own.

  10. Genshin still has a lot of untapped potential players in India, the market is huge and most love free to play mobile games the only limiting factor is the devices they use which will slowly improve over the years eo that'll account for some steady growth for Genshin and most people in India can understand English so special regional dubs are not necessary.

  11. it is one of the biggest games in the world JUST from the insane amount of art cosplay and content around this game we can see how huge it is ,
it dosnt need to have non stop content in game , most people dont have time to no life this game!

  12. And this still only accounts for English search…Genshin's two largest player bases don't even speak English and most likely won't be searching things in English to begin with, so might be even more interesting if those are taken into account.

  13. The issue is genshin as a causal game is the pretty good for what it offers.. But hardcore gamers are judging it as a hardcore game will never be satisfied.

They forget that the average genshin player is aged 35, a busy profesional who don't give a crap about pvp or end game content.

These ppl play 1 hr a day max, just wants to see ZL's dong, hear mona moan and go on dates with Raidens boobs. Why do you think there are so many nostalgic minigames that belongs in the 90s?

If you are bored of genshin, the solution is to just quit. You are the wrong audience. Go play something else.. Come back when you have a fulltime job and maybe a few kids.
