  1. bird girl looks nice. the skins look pretty good, aside from xingqui's. the new area looks nice. minigames looked boring as always. just no content that really makes me want to re-download the game.
    if y'all thought you would actually get a free skin selector or 5 star character that's crazy.

  2. Genshin was fun for like two months, but after exploring Mondstadt & Inazuma and seeing the Sumeru map I was done tbh. Just exploration and some mid endgame & decent story isnt for me. (not to mention the game's lacking quality of life features)

    I rather spam star rail in the background and sometimes play myself instead of needing to spend a lot more time to farm relics in Genshin & planning out mats as they are only available on certain days. Man they really tried to be as restrictive and annoying as possible with their game design.

  14. Same old garbage by Hoyo. I seriously enjoyed working out and going out spending time with new friends than loging to this game. So sad Genshin had been my all time favorite game for a while. I really loved the open world and the battle mechanics but, Hoyo never really did meaningful actions to address the issues let alone improve the game that much.

  17. This update sucks the skin selector that was rumored (to choose a 4 star skin) is real but only in China from buying a ps5 bundle. Not to mention we get like 13 fates in total from logins. I didn’t expect them to go lower this year

  19. I'm actually excited to use Gaming, he looks quite fun, and his animations are amazing. The VA kinda sounds weird tho in the trailer at least, but other than that from the beta I think he's quite amazing, a change of pace to the same old

    I mean, the rest was pretty meh, but not bad I guess. I'm most likely not the audience for the Ganyu and Shenhe skins, not excited about some black and blue dresses like, c'mon, same color palette as pretty much every other skin in the game? Kinda boring. They're quite elegant ngl

  21. played since week 01.
    then stopped from time to time because the game is boring
    last time i stopped was during Nahida's 1st banner, all i do in the game is try to get the new 'waifu' then max her out to 90, then leave the game.

    the game never gave us something interesting besides abyss (not really). i always wanted an Elysian Realm-type of game mode (this was wayyy before HSR was out) and instead we got ripoff pokemon, among the top of my head, and alot of uninteresting events that caters to those players who play the game for 20 mins and never take it seriously. Last time we had that raid-thing? and all i can say is, i'd rather solo it because ALL THE RANDOS ARE ALWAYS DYING. The same way with weekly bosses, and to me this is already an easy game– but still ..

    last time i came back was Furina's banner, then lost and got the MVP Qiqi
    that is the final straw. Never logging in again. and here we are, enjoying Star Rail

  27. The reason why alot of these mini games and Overflowing mastery are event only is because they are exploiting FOMO(Fear of Missing Out). If Overflowing Mastery and these mini games were always available there would be zero incentive to do them. Where as when they come around temporarily it inflates their user base and spending spikes during that time. As long as players continue to eat it up they'll keep exploiting FOMO.

  30. I think of Lantern rite more of a primogem mine. It's always kind of eh. I don't get why people expected a skin selector and free 5 star. That's all. Anyways, I am still interested in exploring the new area in Liyue/Fontaine. That's one plus to the update.

  33. Wait, do I understand correctly that they copied Azure Empyrea from Honkai took a bird from the ult of another variation of Fu Hua, replaced the bird with a phoenix to a heron and , color of the model and made the chest bigger? I see they are running out of ideas.

  34. I played Genshin since day one. Now I am on the verge to uninstall this shit and never come back. If they treat their biggest even the lantern rite this shit than I don't want to be here anymore. They are just farming the player's money at this point.

  35. 7:32 yeah you see I have my Hypercarry Raiden team and Ayaka freeze built with some cracked artifacts set in 2 years. This is the kind of stuff that want to make me come back and then you get into the game and it feels like the next 50 hours are going to be chores and cancer becaause you can't skip the bad story and the exploration became repetitive and unrewarding as hell over the years…

  39. Genshin is the perfect game to play for 3 months a year and then never touch it until the next region drops, like fr how to people get content like this after 4.0, 4.1, 4.2 quests and then say ''Yea, it's fine"

  40. Lets go we are gameing now!. Besides the bumper cars and a free gaming thats a chad name its self. I think da rest is gonna be sh@t. So im getting my free stuff thats bad up star rail. Try to enjoy the micky mouse mini games after i get the rewards. Im going to go play monster hunter rise Or monster hunter world or elden Ring. And not telling them my opinion cause as we all know genshin dont give af about there players. πŸ˜‚πŸ˜‚πŸ˜‚
    Plus what crappy names they gonna come up with next. Since there's barley anything to do on genshin. We should start guessing on what @$$ name pops up next. And amazing content eggman keep up the good work.🐐πŸ”₯πŸ—Ώ
