So does that mean there is a new 6th Harbinger or there was never a 6th?
I feel like this was Nahida being a mother figure to teach Scaramouche a lesson that you can't change your past no matter how hard you try because you'll always will want to know the truth and what happened….and she waited for him to return to give him back that knowledge for him to understand that.
I have a theory. What if that's the god of Fontaine? Since in summertime odyssey, Nahida spoke to us Abt being a bird trapped in a cage, soooo then it must be the god of Fontaine speaking to us
So here are my comments:
1- Paimon & Dottore…Hoyo is doing a excellent job at making me want both a Tour Guide & Scholar to never exist. The ONLY thing that I like about them is the ability to want to comfort the individuals that are on the receiving end of their personalities(Experiments & Insults). This seems like a Twisted thought to have and I’m aware of it plus also hate it.
2- Nahida right now is best Archon due to actual help for Traveler & Lore. Which makes sense due to the Archon concept imo. Freedom, choosing to give or not give info. Contract, can’t give due to agreement. Eternity…haven’t fully understood this concept. Wisdom, cycling knowledge

I couldn't have thought for a more trash take on his story than how Hoyoverse delivered. It was probably the worst story they've done thus far.
They had so much potential to work with, but bitched out of it, and I'm sick of people being pleased with such mediocre content.
Scaramouche isn't Wanderer, we do not have "playable Scaramouche", Wanderer at best is a version of Kunikuzushi, and in general the story got completely ruined.

No one knows who he is. And while this was what Scaramouche wanted, it's such a pathetic, bitter end to his arc. They couldn't think of a better plot than this? I also don't understand why the Traveler even cares for Scaramouche after checking on Kazuha, Ayaka and Ayato? Because given how much of a dick they were to him pre-deletion, it makes me wonder wtf they expected? Of course if he deleted himself, he still has to exist one way or another. The overall story is just garbage, and I'm going to pretend it's fanmade or just not canon. I refuse to consider this the "redemption" of Scaramouche, but moreso the half-assed take on a "rebirth". In the end, he still wanted all of these memories back, and this pretty much ruined the entire story. The timeline is fucked, he still has the trauma, but no one remembers him but you, technically Paimon and Nahida. It's just so sad. He's a tragic character that deserved so much better, not just story-wise, but from the writers too. I've promised myself to no longer read any story by Hoyoverse anymore, all they do is disappoint. I felt like giving them a chance since the Chasm quest, that I still believe to be a horrible story that makes Itto just an oni with anger issues and I'm so sick of people praising the holy duo of ass-kissing, known as Kazuha & Xiao. Easily overrated characters. It's fine to disagree with me, but I won't bother to read any replies that try to stir conflict or something, I'm just putting my opinion out and calling it a day. G'day

paimon is so suspicious. at one point, she acted that she had no clue who scaramouche is. but then after hearing the whole story, she started acting like she knows him so well. she even claimed that "we weren't your biggest fans", and when scaramouche regained his memory and was back to his usual sharp tongue, she says "there's that tone of voice AGAIN" like she actually heard and conversed with him before. surely, even if someone claims that they forgot and was ONLY told the true story, they wouldn't really act as if they've experienced the story itself, right? i, myself, couldn't be so sure how a person actually is unless i've seen or fully remember myself.
i feel like paimon is only acting that she had also forgotten. makes me wonder if she really had forgotten about rukkhadevata and was just pretending that she did.

One of the best Archon quests ever seeing a Fatui Harbinger turn over to the Good side is soooo complex and awesome to see i love Wanderer so much got him and his Weapon today Scara/Wanderer FTW one of the best written Dialogs in Genshin
aside from paimon being absolutely friggin annoying, when she yelled at scaramouche who was legit going through it "Hey, are you done yet!?" READ THE FUCKING ROOM PAIMON FFS.
