  4. You’ll most likely never see this but to answer your question about wether the characters are free:

    SHORT ANSWER:
    everything is this game is 100% free (including the characters). Paying is completely optional.

    LONG ANSWER:
    When you start the game you are given the main character and 3-4 other characters. A few others can be obtained simply by progressing the game. The rest of the characters can be earned through wishes.

    These wishes can be obtained by collecting primogems. Primos are in game rewards for completing quests, opening chests, completing challenges, and e.t.c. Every 160 primogems you collect earns you 1 more wish.

    Now time to explain wishes. Wishes are basically bets to earn characters. By making wishes you are betting the primogems you earned in hopes of getting a strong (usually 5 star) character. These 5 star characters are only available in monthly cycles. So you have only about a month’s time to try to earn specific characters. If you don’t earn them within that timeframe (which is pretty doable), you’ll have to wait months (possibly even over a year) for the character to be available again.

    With every wish you make, your chances of getting a stronger character rises. So the more you wish, the higher the return. After 75 wishes, a 4 star is guaranteed, and after 90, a 5-star is guaranteed. Now again, I must stress that all of this is easily doable 100% free (not accounting for sacrifices of time). There is no catch, other than your wishes (bets) failing to get your desired result.

    WHAT IS BOUGHT
    So, you must be wondering: “If all characters are 100% free, what is it people pay for?” Well, they buy wishes. They are not buying characters but rather faster chances of earning the characters. In other words, you only buy stuff if you don’t have the patience to grind for wishes over and over again, OR if you’re tired of losing your bets and time is running out. The millions of people willingly buying wishes are what keeps the game free for everyone else.

    OTHER THAN THAT
    Honestly, the wish system probably only amounts to less than 1% of the game. The rest of the game is still very enjoyable without the crazy strong limited edition characters. You get to enjoy a massive world, full of huge varieties of enemies, beautiful landscapes, thousands of stories, unlimited amount of activities, and more. The game is BIG, and I mean BIG! Nothing is restricted from you if you don’t want to pay. In fact, you could easily beat the game without wishing at all.

    So, Primogems are rewards for doing stuff ➡️ primos buy wishes ➡️ wishes increase chance of getting character ➡️ people may choose to buy wishes to expedite the process.

  5. Sometimes, the effort put into the character demos sheds some light into the importance the characters have in the games main plot. One of them is the wanderer who you've seen in this demo and I'm sure you did see quite a few in the past few videos. Some of the most high budget demos are for the gods of the world the game is set in. Hoyoverse put particular effort into these characters' demos when they got released as playable and they also have some of the best usability in game as well. I'm not going to spoil which characters I'm referring to but it's going to become very obvious if you rewatch the demos. But it's preferable that you experience the story in game instead.

    Also, it would be great if you reacted to the boss themes after the character demos. I believe the bosses sometimes have even better music composed for them. Otherwise, I really enjoyed your reaction and I hope to see more genshin impact content form you, including your playthrough once you are able to do it.

  8. You surely should react to the character teasers now! Look, in this game there are 5 stars characters and 4 stars ones. Usually, the 5* characters are stronger and more important lore-wise (not always tho). While all the characters have character demos, only 5* ones have teasers, so you won't see so many videos if you react to them

  13. So don't feel bad about getting shivers from listening to Candance, she has that effect on everyone when you play through the Main Story, her Story quest, and just playing her in game.

  16. So the reason the Nahida one ended in a weird way it it leads into another video "Happy Birthday Nahida" that is another one of those types of videos you need to watch both together to get the full story to understand.

  19. 17:30 her lore is actually wild lol. Spoilers obviously.

    Anyway so Layla’s thing is that she’s a college student and as such is permanently half-asleep. That is of course an issue because she’ll do things like fall asleep while doing her homework. Oh but what’s this? When she wakes up all her homework is done and neatly stacked to the side! Turns out when she falls asleep her split personality “super-student Layla” wakes up and finishes everything at record speed. Thus, sleepwalking.

  20. 25:04 basically they’re the local gods. Chinese mythology is is very very polytheistic and a large part of mythology is about mortals seeking the advice and wisdom of the immortals. That in Genshin translated into “seeking the adepti”. Thing is, many if not all of the adepti can cast illusions, teleport, set up traps and obstacles, or shapeshift, meaning actually finding one if they choose to hide is almost impossible. Slight spoilers but three adepti live in Liyue Harbor and literally nobody knows they do except their trusted confidants. YaoYao is a child who has grown up with the adepti and thus can recognize all the adepti just chilling out everywhere, which is why she’s confused.

  21. please play :D. also please watch the trevail trailer. a cool watch would be the version trailers, altho if you wish to play and dont want spoilers, maybe dont watch the later ones. and i STRONGLY recommend NOT watching winter nights lazzo if you wish to play. story teasers are very fun too
