That little animation at the end as the game reveals the event details. It's whimsical yet unsettling, similar vibes to Nahida's teaser trailer.
And that musicbox tune, once again supposed to be whimsical but very eerie when paired with the glitchy animation. I feel like this event might end in a bittersweet way.
Why hoyo have to make everything so dark man, I mean they can just make so that the mother is a storywriter or filmaker and she commisioned freminet to make the props but they chose deppresion impact instead
Why literally no one discusses that the prince is Traveler's sibling, the prince(ss) of Khaenri'ah, and the monsters are the abyss monsters that appeared during the Cataclysm 500 years ago, Water Imps being locked behind bars are the hilichurls' curse, a mysterious masked individual is dainsleif? Seems like the ley lines remember the event and corrupt children who are suffering from loneliness with memories of our sibling's loneliness and his story.
Loneliness sucks man, you dream a lot and want to stay in that dream cuz it feels so familiar until reality hits you relize that you unemployed since the pendemic, and socializing make it more awkward when you serrounded by all your family and friends but you just can't relate to them, and you just feel so alone. This event story is sad man, and the most sad part is that you just lose interest in everything it sucks and making you want to sleep for ever. Fuuuug if anyone have this similar disorder hope you can get better soon
