I'm an unconditional lover of cryo units/freeze teams to the point of having more than one (and Eula + Raiden because it's fun and she's technically a Cryo waifu) and as much as Mona can help get the big pp damage for screenshots, Kokomi is definitely more reliable than her as an AoE hydro applier and together with my Ganyu + Kazuha + Shenhe team, she definitely works way better. Mona is a better fit with Ayaka quick-swap though as her buff lasts enough time to enhance the already broken Ayaka burst
That you could use mona instead of kokomi is quite misleading, mona doesn't provide consistent hydro off field, that makes permafreeze impossible and similiar with other teams, it is entirely different role

Is yelan buff really bigger than kokomi though ? Kokomi gives a stable 68% attack buff , yelan gives up to 50% damage bonus over time but its average around 26% , that's not more than kokomi 68% attack in most cases

What a dilemma
I'm really undecided between Kokomi and Ganyu (i have garanteed)
I had her last year in a random 10 pull after I got Raiden in her banner. At the time her drop rate was so high because no one was pulling for her ๐ญ. She's a constant in my team and I even got her BIS weapon. She's similar to Zhongli and Kazuha in the sense that Zhongli has the best shield, Kazuha has the best exploration skill, and Kokomi for healing. If you want a better quality of life in the game, especially if you're a mobile user. These three are a must-have.
As a day 1 Kokomi haver I really donโt see Kokomi as anything else other than a healer and a comfort pull. To me sheโs just meh, Iโm at the point now where I constantly look for units with better Hydro applications and utility than her.

I'd much rather save up to get Ganyu, and considering I've been cursed with Barbara constellations im totally fine in the healing department. Plus I dont have half the characters needed for taser comps variations, soooooooo, even less interested. Pretty sure my account is allergic to Sucrose, and electro units that arent Fischl and Sara.
The only downside of Koko is having to farm that darn Hydro cube :')
Well, All of those points you made are amazing, And I think she is worth to pull for. Which is exactly what I'm going to do. I really like kokomi(design and personality), And she's going to be amazing in my freeze team.

at her release i got 3 kokomis in 8 wishes, so i decided to play her despite all critics. She's actually my most played and favorite character in the game, she's one of the most useful character for hydro application and for healing (even better in open world) and she can be played as a mdps if well built
People hard on that Kokopium. She is useful now though since burgeoning, bloom and burning can hurt you
Ever since kokomi released and i got her she is always on my any team i love her a lot. I invest low on her just using ttds and some 4 star arti tenacity. She is good enough and do her job well as support.
As someone with c4 Mona, i may still get kokomi. Being able to heal as well as provide hydro application is so much more flexible than just a pure buffer
Kokomi has replaced my C6 Zhongli for most content. Her aoe and hydro application have made gameplay more exciting and have opened up many team combos. Too many people, especially content creators, are meta slaves- only worried about big numbers. She is a well balanced character that deserves more love.
I got the new Dendro healer and will use the rest of my rolls to try to get her. Hope I get her early lol
