NEW UPDATE!! VERSION 4.6 BANNERS (ARLECCHINO & FURINA RERUN) & CHRONICLED WISH – Genshin Impact

4.6 Beta started just a few days ago, and we have already got most of the information about the upcoming update. From new playable characters to new areas, new artifacts etc, 4.6 has a lot to offer in terms of content. But today, we are going to discuss the version 4.6 banners, including the reruns & the new chronicled banner.

Starting with the most hyped character in genshin impact, Arlecchino. She’s a 5 star pyro polearm user, as you all know by now, and she is expected to appear in phase two, yes, not in phase one but phase two. So we know that arlecchino will also be released as a weekly boss in 4.5, and this is the main reason She would appear in phase two banners.

If you remember, baizhu was released in phase two of version 3.6. And to level up his talents, we needed the weekly boss’ materials which we unlocked through nahida’s second story quest in phase one. And that was the main reason he appeared in phase two. Now in version 4.6, the same thing is expected to happen with arlecchino’s banner release. Since she requires the boss’ materials to level up her talents, she will most likely appear in phase two. The only question is how are we going to unlock the boss? Through arlecchino’s story quest, or someone else’s?

So who else is getting a story quest in 4.6? Is it furina? No. Cyno is getting the second part of his story quest in version 4.6. And that means cyno will also get a rerun, and he will most likely appear in phase one. The reason is pretty simple, we are getting a sumeru desert map expansion in 4.6, and cyno’s story quest will definitely be related to this new area, so he should be getting his banner in phase one as well.

And now you must be thinking, why cyno? He was just here two patches ago, but to be honest, I don’t have any answers either. Now some of you guys will say, what if he appears on the chronicled banner? He can’t, especially because it’s a regional banner. Because we are going to inazuma for the main event of version 4.6. So inazuman characters should appear on the banners, and he, is not from inazuma.

Moving on to the next character. Furina is almost confirmed to get a banner in version 4.6. And the reason is the same as always, every archon gets their first rerun banner after 3 patches. Furina was released in version 4.2, so she should appear on the 4.6 banners. But I don’t have any information about her second story quest.

Other than her, for the last remaining spot, we have three candidates, and they are lyney, wriothesley and alhaitham. Lyney was released in 4.0, and hasn’t gotten his first rerun yet, whereas neuvillette was released in 4.1 and he’s getting his first rerun in the second half of 4.5, Same goes for wriothesley, but lyney has better chances of gettin a rerun than wriothesley. Alhaitham too hasn’t gotten his rerun since 3.7, so he’s a candidate too.

If you’re thinking where’s wanderer, well he’s expected to appear in version 4.8, and this info is based on leaks. So who are our candidates for a banner in version 4.6? Furina and cyno in phase one, whereas arlecchino and lyney or alhaitham or wriothesley in phase two, are expected to appear on the banners.

About the chronicled banner, based on info via little teyvat, there’s a possibility that there won’t be any chronicled banner in version 4.6, or, they don’t have any information about it yet. But if we were to get a chronicled banner in 4.6, it would most likely feature liyue characters, and not inazuman characters.

Because hoyoverse has said that, characters that have already appeared in the Character Event Wish at least 3 times, and have also not appeared in any recent Event Wishes will appear in Chronicled Wish. So inazuman characters can’t appear on it in 4.6 since most of them have appeared on the recent banners, except for kokomi. So liyue characters like ganyu, yelan and childe could appear on it in 4.6.

Shenhe can’t appear on this banner as she hasn’t gotten 3 banners yet, so she will appear on the regular limited event wish banners.
