You should definitely do a comparison that feels far more equal than Aeons vs Archons. Something like Neuvillete and Dan Heng Imbibitor Lunae. Both are Dragons with dominion over water, so it's far more fair.
Also you can do that for mortal characters of HSR and GI, since for most of them the scale isn't that far off. The difference happens when we go to the upper echelon of HSR which far out scales Genshin.
The Aeons are so far above the Archons it's not even funny- Ian just straight vaporized a planet on an average Thursday, and Aeon of Equilibrium is weaving a universe-wide web thing that mortals can't even hope to escape from.
Only the P.O. can even stand on the same power scale as them- though that begs the question of 'what is the Primordial One?'

Itd obvious Aeons are stronger than archons but archons like zhong li look and sound so much cooler than some aeons
I guess since the primordial one is holding back the universe from breaking into Teyvat you can scale him from Multi-planet to Universal. There is also the fact that Aeon doesn't have abilities like the shades such as Nanook can't travel back in time like Istaroth

Without watching the video, and without caring for Star Rails lore despite loving the game, I can say with absolute confidence, no. The Aeons are more or less PO equivalents, the archons are basically mortal kings in comparison.

Glad to have seen this video. I was considering starting Honkai after all the praise it has gotten, but now i definitely know I won’t ever want it. It seems so over the top and not cosy, and the gameplay isnt an open world either

zhongly and venti ain't the only archons that were alive during the archon war. ei and nahida also were.
just like aions incarnate things like say nanook incarnate destruction, archons also are such an embodiment. i don't know for every archon, but for exemple, ei incarnate eternity.
also, aions can be killed by something else then only "another one of them" kafka mentionned there's another known way to kill them, then 2 fighting each other and she also talked about the fact that there's a 3rd unknown way.
finaly, we can't be sure of how powerful the archons really are. they're supposed to lead their respective nations, so since they barely ever leave it and it might be theorised that if they really use their full powers they could actualy destroy everyone they're actualy supposed to protect, thus why they never will.

Aeons are by far superior to anyone in genshin.
Imaginary tree is an universe, not a multiverse, then, the biggest genshin's feat by far is planetary (primordial one separating Teyvat's world from the universe, which is not impressive, since many hi3 already did that)

Such as an weak aeon, Lan, who is said to not be among the strongest aeons, can easily destroy worlds only with the speed of their moves. That is likely an imaginable power, and bigger than anything we've seen in genshin
Narratively, celestial gods are implied to be only planetary(star at best) gods, nowhere near to aeons.
Traveller prime got dumped by unknown god EASILY. Unknown god is prolly bellow primordial one, then genshin is planetary, and archons are consistently island-low continental, while aeons are multi stars-universal
The most powerful aeon we've seen so far, HooH, literally hacked the concept of logic in the entire univer, is omnipresent and control the stars
