  1. Best of luck for both everyone wishing or saving! <3

Personally, after inviting him, I'm saving all the way for Fontaine
Apologies 3.5+ characters, but I promise to return for you guys one day T_T

  2. You know, listening to Alhaitham’s monologue about written history and unanswered questions is rather ominous…After what happened with Greater Lord Rukkhadevata and Scaramouche with Irminsul…

Will Alhaitham accept the fact that Gods/Divine beings have access to such an ability to control ppl’s memory of events? Knowing that Alhaitham is a person who upholds order and rules of nature he understands…

  3. No what's forbidden is not forbidden knowledge, it's one of the 6 cardinal sins of sumeru where you are not allowed to find the origin of language. Most likely because it connects back to khaen'riah and that might cause a nail disaster

  4. It also dropped while I was sleeping haha. But it was a nice thing to wake up to. I love how soothing it is.

Okay but nahida as the symbol of peace was adorable. just the art in general AMAZING

  5. The origin of words brings to old Enka (unified civilization language) Greek words… The current Celestia doesn't' want people of current Teyvat to know about unified civilization and ancient history written in this language. (As per what we learn from the Byakuyakoku Books).

  6. Bran, what Alhaitham's last words mean is quite simple: the most important questions have no answers. It's not particularly sus or even related to the lore of the game (though the language thing certainly is). He's just being philosophical.

  7. The genesis of language makes reference to the 6 Deadly Sins from the Akademiya

    1. You shall not interfere with human evolution;
    2. You shall not tamper with life and death
    3. You shall not delve beyond the universe
4.You shall not investigate the origin of words
    5. You shall not revere gods without acts of devotion
    6. You shall not divulge secrets without a hint of fear.

Funny enough there is one person who committed all 6 of them and is a not welcomed in Sumeru anymore

  8. In Razor speak, the trailer is: "Start of all words? We don't know. Was very long ago. We can't know." "Since humans use words first, they write things. All things. The skies, the stars, the mountains, the birds! Also fights and calm! All humans everywhere." "Words make books, books show history for future humans." "Alhaitham/The Scribe writes true words, but also… questions. Questions no one knows. Many not have answer in future." "Hard questions not have answer forever."

In the last line, he means that even if you know a lot of things about a topic, even if you're sort of an expert on it, there will always be questions that nobody, not even you can answer. That's just how things are. ("profound question" means a question that's deep and shows insight into the topic.) It shows that Alhaitham knows that there is a lot you can learn from books and other texts, but there is a limit to knowledge, and perhaps that's okay.

The last line reminds me of how in Maths, there are statements that can never be proven and statements that have been voiced but nobody could yet prove are true.

  9. This teaser is the thing that made me finally decide to actually pull for him.. He has the sort of mindset and thought process which i find interesting and familiarity in and this teaser was illustrated beautifuly along with the quiet and relaxing music.. can't wait to use him and find wonky team comps.

  10. My take on his ending words are that he's trying to basically say "the most important questions, the ones we should be asking, are always shut down. They are met with silence"
They want to keep him in the dark about the truth.
