❤❤❤
the man i call daddy
alhaitham my love i only have 65 wishes for u 😭😭
Whats the timer for?
You know, listening to Alhaitham’s monologue about written history and unanswered questions is rather ominous…After what happened with Greater Lord Rukkhadevata and Scaramouche with Irminsul…
Will Alhaitham accept the fact that Gods/Divine beings have access to such an ability to control ppl’s memory of events? Knowing that Alhaitham is a person who upholds order and rules of nature he understands…
This is literally next gen anime amazing he looks cool but so many this patch to roll for nr1 is raiden some are gonna have to wait for a rerun
Imagine Alhaitham and Itto having a philosophical/intellectual debate.
2:06 from what i heard, not exactly.
apparently theyre sumeru’s language, which is a slightly altered version of the teyvat language that mondstadt and others use
His teaser reminds me sooo much of Nat Geo documentaries
As a linguistics student, it's so funny to me that etymology is a forbidden discipline in Sumeru. Like… What the hell?
forbidden because its part of the Cardinal sin . its also I believe part of the forbidden knowledge.
watch murderofbirds channel for this.
Such a profound teaser… I loved it.
I'll skip Alhaitham this time, but I will hopefully get him on his rerun.
Good luck with your wishes everyone! We will get the characters that we want!
King Deshret in his current samsara
One of the top best teaser trailers
Usually when you don't understand something look at the comments below. Most will try to explain it, and few will get it right, just search for it.
His teaser trailer is so calming, quiet and beautiful, it shows that he's just a normal dude that seeks answers and ask questions about the world. I'm so excited for him in next patch!
No what's forbidden is not forbidden knowledge, it's one of the 6 cardinal sins of sumeru where you are not allowed to find the origin of language. Most likely because it connects back to khaen'riah and that might cause a nail disaster
Aww, he's just a bookworm. How cute.
I got at least 20 wallpapers for my laptop from this. The art is that good.
HUSBAND!!!!
Al Haitham is talking about language as a whole, interesting, it really is a curious topic… like how did cavemen come up with stuff, lmao…
❤
That looks way too much like ufotable animation
It also dropped while I was sleeping haha. But it was a nice thing to wake up to. I love how soothing it is.
Okay but nahida as the symbol of peace was adorable. just the art in general AMAZING
The profoundest eternal questions are met only with boundless and eternal silence – probably the most deepest sentence I've read in a long time
Yo YT, which you're sitting here, we at twitch are having good time, join us
Had a chuckle to myself. When his teaser dropped, all the female Genshin streamers reacted within the first 30 seconds. Meanwhile Bran rocks up several hours later.
The origin of words brings to old Enka (unified civilization language) Greek words… The current Celestia doesn't' want people of current Teyvat to know about unified civilization and ancient history written in this language. (As per what we learn from the Byakuyakoku Books).
As someone who graduated with History and Philosophy degree, I do really like his teaser.
He made me instinctively try to read between his lines or find any deeper meaning associated with the lore. lol
The closer we are to the next patch, the more anticipation I feel. Can't wait to pull for Alhaitham. 😍
Bran, what Alhaitham's last words mean is quite simple: the most important questions have no answers. It's not particularly sus or even related to the lore of the game (though the language thing certainly is). He's just being philosophical.
The genesis of language makes reference to the 6 Deadly Sins from the Akademiya
1. You shall not interfere with human evolution;
2. You shall not tamper with life and death
3. You shall not delve beyond the universe
4.You shall not investigate the origin of words
5. You shall not revere gods without acts of devotion
6. You shall not divulge secrets without a hint of fear.
Funny enough there is one person who committed all 6 of them and is a not welcomed in Sumeru anymore
Glad we got to rewatch 🥲🥲🥲 this is beautiful
Tbh, his teaser look like an insurance commercial ads
He's just a guy who likes to study. I really loved the vibe of this teaser.
When the piano music intensifies at 1:12 I literally got chills and were instantly teleported there by the atmosphere.
That last line kinda made me emotional. Basically he's saying there's some stuff that we will simply never know or fully understand.
In Razor speak, the trailer is: "Start of all words? We don't know. Was very long ago. We can't know." "Since humans use words first, they write things. All things. The skies, the stars, the mountains, the birds! Also fights and calm! All humans everywhere." "Words make books, books show history for future humans." "Alhaitham/The Scribe writes true words, but also… questions. Questions no one knows. Many not have answer in future." "Hard questions not have answer forever."
In the last line, he means that even if you know a lot of things about a topic, even if you're sort of an expert on it, there will always be questions that nobody, not even you can answer. That's just how things are. ("profound question" means a question that's deep and shows insight into the topic.) It shows that Alhaitham knows that there is a lot you can learn from books and other texts, but there is a limit to knowledge, and perhaps that's okay.
The last line reminds me of how in Maths, there are statements that can never be proven and statements that have been voiced but nobody could yet prove are true.
His trailer is gorgeous, it's so beautifully made. Scenes and discussion are incredible, I am really so in love with them. And I like how unfinished it is.
This teaser is the thing that made me finally decide to actually pull for him.. He has the sort of mindset and thought process which i find interesting and familiarity in and this teaser was illustrated beautifuly along with the quiet and relaxing music.. can't wait to use him and find wonky team comps.
Much prefer the Japanese VA, English isn't terrible though
My take on his ending words are that he's trying to basically say "the most important questions, the ones we should be asking, are always shut down. They are met with silence"
They want to keep him in the dark about the truth.
Bruh…I don’t want to get my hopes up or anything, but what if Alhaitham turns out to be King Deshret reincarnated or like a descendant of Deshret himself?
This teaser really said "You thought you weren't pulling for Alhaitham." As a fellow bibliophile, I felt this teaser in my soul.
I think Alhaitham is the kind of guy who would post those deep and profound inspirational quotes on instagram
