  1. I agree that the loop quote is just solidification of what has been happening in the plot, the cicle of life and death with the return to the ley lines being a big example, not even gods can scape it, and when something defies that loop, it has negative consequences, such like with Qiqi who got brought back to life but now has memory problems and constantly needs to exercise or her body will stiffen up, and specially with the curse of imortality in which not being allowed to die aka return to the ley lines also means to be permanently forgotten. Maybe, just maybe, the death of the great lord rukhadevata, had something to do with either the curse or the abyssal energy. And it also makes me wonder, what it means to be a keeper of the tree like Dainsleif is supposed to be, I feel we really should meet him again soon

  2. Thank you so much for comparing the parable of the gardener with Kusanali Jataka, when I first read the parable and saw 'tree spirit', 'cut' and '500' I instantly knew this was connected to Sumeru. And also this theory has a really nice message too about the cyclical nature of human civilization; I feel like this theme of cyclicality is relevant to both Honkai and Genshin Impact

  3. I see two ways that the Sumeru story can go.

Either Kusanali does prove her worth as the Dendro Archon, and the people will accept her.

    Or alternatively, and more depressingly.

Kusanali will not be able to help her people, because her people rejected her, leading to the downfall of Sumeru.

  4. I watched an old theory the other day speculating that the greater lord isn't actually dead and Kusanali is the Viridescent Venerer. Uncrowned (lesser?) meaning she has no gnosis.

  5. ok, in going on a tangent here…i just saw a video of Yangfei's voicelines and got here just after that…now tell me…why all of the suden i think your voice sounds just like yangfei's? Am i going insane? does really the lack of social life is making me unable to diferenciate betwin voices?

  6. Ah I just had a realization! What if the sumerian gods actually represents the human psyche of ID, Ego and Super ego/ concious, subconcious and preconcious? Kusanalis powers seem to revolve around dreams, so she is a fit for the subconcious. Tree god may be a fit for the concious since they were the god of wisdom and learning. And the third might fit as the preconcious as they seem dead/sealed and the eremites want to revive it so its in a state in between?

  7. I have been spoiled by the leaks, and after all the theories I've heard this is the closest theory that got it right thus far. Catwithbluehat's mirage theory is interesting, Aster really hit one of the nails in this theory. Overall, if you have never seen the leaks, you have no idea what ridiculousness is about to unfold.

  8. Kusanali is basically the Deku Tree Sprout from Ocarina of Time. Also, I really want to give her a hug.

I find really interesting that she used the word "loop" instead of cycle or circle. I do agree that one of the meanings of this phrase is the cyclical nature of the civilizations of Teyvat but also… It is a strong argument for the simulation theory. Loops in programming are chunks or parts of code that repeat themselves until a condition or more are true. Some loops don't ever end (unless you force close the program or computer). I'm not sure if I support the theory of Teyvat being fake and breaking the loom of fate could be the Traveler rewriting the code/making the conditionals true, but as someone who is in the computer science field, it's the first thing I relate to the term loop.
