The Chasm is such an awesome new zone and I was really surprised to see Yelan show up!! Hoyoverse already starting their drip marketing campaign from within the game :O Really looking forward to her and Kuki Shinobu as well!
Ayato was hyped so much, even by hoyoverse themselves, by being so mysterious, but at the same time teasing us so much with so many sneak peaks of him, as if it was their intention to make us think and talk about Ayato so much, and yet what did we get in the end? An "ok"character that isn't bad but it certainly isn't as good as he could have been, it's so painful to see a character that has as part of his kit a trait that makes him pretty much the DPS, but he can't make proper use of vaporize.

I'm contemplating on getting her cuz like sure it's nice to have a second xq and stuff, but I dont know how Yelan works compared to a c6 xq. Plus I only need one hydro character for my hutao as I already have ayato on the second one lol
Why the standard especially for hydro chars is "became xinqiu" or better? Can Yelan& future chars be having their own independent playstyle? If it ain't broke don't fix it, but you're getting same recipe every day and night it's repetitive.
Play since 1.5 and until now i still don't understand why people take the abyss too serious. even with 4star character you still can 33/36 the floor and 36 the abyss is not worth the amount of theory team comp study rotation on a character for a freaking 50 primo 🤣 . Everytime new character release are they worth it? do they can do this and that. can they fit on this and that and so on. Trust me a 5star character can fit on everything as long you like them and having fun with them. People like everything to be easy that's why they complaining too much if the character doesn't meet their over high expectations.. 🗿👍🏻 ps this is not for abyss enjoyer that like to clear abyss as fast as they can..

The weakpoint of Yelan is basically she's a 5 stars Xingqiu. For budget seasonal player mostly everyone have a Xingqiu, even event in 2.6 give you a free one, and you can buy more constelation on shop every now and then they reset the shop.
i will pull for her since she'll be basically a 5* xingqiu but i'll never stop finding funny people saying there's not too much hydro characters cuz it's a """"'broken""""" element as if all banners of hydro characters with the exception of ayato weren't a complete failure
