along with yao yao making her first appearance since launch, we also get to see a younger version of madame ping in this lantern rite festival.
there were rumors of another new liyue female character making her first appearance, but it turns out is actually cloud retainer , one of the adepti taking a human appearance.
Cloud retainer has a tall female model and wears glasses, she has similar clothing to shenhe and her hair is tied into a ponytail.
It seems she has a Harsh Personality initially before gradually showing a warmer, friendlier side over time.
And she has a rather innocent and sacred nature as well.
although it seems cloud retainer is not playable character right now, in the future she might become playable.
afterall, making a good character design just to not make them playable is a huge waste.
