There has been no mention of end game, no mention or replayable systems, or anything to keep the veteran players playing Genshin Impact With the release of Sumeru… but maybe that can change.

  1. I think this is something that has been talked about a lot and I know it's hard for content creators to branch out because they'll lose viewers but ranting about the same things every now and then won't change anything. I've already understand from these recent fighting events that there won't be any endgame so they can recycle these fighting events every patch. I used to listen to these kind of rants but not anymore.

  2. One thing I know is that I'll never play another game from mihoyo. I like genshin impact but hate this company and don't want to get into another game with no content. Rn I'm only leveling up all my chars in the account. When that's done I'll probably quit.

  3. A few days ago I started playing Valorant, and even though I've never been particularly interested in FPS and I'm definitely not good at it, it felt like a relief logging out of Genshin and actually having something to do. Before I started Valorant, I subconsciously forced myself to keep playing Genshin all day, whether it was resin, or random exploration and it sucked, it felt like work. Now that I actually close the game for something else, I'm not "addicted" to Genshin anymore. Especially since Valorant is something compeltely new for me personally it's a huge challenge and overall I feel like if I had invested more time into Valorant, a game that doesn't force you to login every single day, then I would've been happier. I think Mr. Tash is right, once I triple crown Kuki Shinobu (you realize how I play Genshin) I might just go all in into Valorant since it's an actual skill based game unlike Genshin and it actually pays off when you work hard to get better. It's sad to think that Genshin would end up like that for me, but it's looking like it really has been foreshadowing it for a long long time now

  4. Billions of dollars and they didn't hire enough developers to create more content for the game, they lock new content through character paywalls, they bend their developer mindset to that of China (time gating), and aren't adding end game content.

I was out months ago. This game is like an abusive relationship and it's honestly just sad. I should have listened to my friends warning and never installed this game

  5. Genshin will get an end game but it will be similar style as the one available in Honkai. And to be honest, for a regular content creator it is also very repetative and boring. Don't expect the end game mode to be "The Holy Grail" or "The Savior": Genshin Impact is in first line a gacha game for casual players and you should enjoy the game for what it is. The game really shines while exploration and discovering new playstyles along new character introductions and the story line. All the META discussions and end game copium is simply out of place in such a game like Genshin. You should like the game for what it is or stop playing it, it's just that simple.

  7. I just can’t relate to this kind of shit. Games aren’t supposed to be endlessly fun forever. I’ve gotten sooo many hours out of this game and can’t wait for a new region. Sorry you have to make money on this but maybe try another game

  8. It's a shame that the same company that delivered Honkai Impact 3rd dropped the ball so hard with Genshin Impact. At this point in the dev cycle, Honkai had much more to do for end game players. Plus the story was wayyyyy better. Truly tragic. I hope the competition gives Hoyoverse a kick in the butt.

  9. Maybe, but just maybe, this game is just not made for CCs that try to squeeze 4-5h content out of it every day. I also wish there would be a bit more to do sometimes, but as someone who works I can’t play hours.
When I go to McDonalds I also don’t complain that there is no japanese Sushi for me. I know they serve burger.
