On June 26th, HoYoverse posted birthday art for Raiden Shogun, but it received hateful comments. The main complaint was that the art made her look cute with a babyface, unlike her serious and cool in-game persona. Some people compared it to previous birthday art, calling it better but still criticizing it. They even used the word ‘atrocities,’ which angered others who felt the criticism was ungrateful given the artist’s effort.”

Do ppl not think that ei comes out to play too
Stupid fans
Chronically online people getting a seizure because the eyes of a person that doesn't exist were 1cm bigger than in previous photos. I wish I had their troubles in life
First, the final design of Emilie. Now, Raiden's birthday art. Like what yall dogs complaining about? Mihoyo/Hoyo knows what they're doing and if you don't like it,
Womp womp💀💀💀 🫵😐🫵
🤜😢🤛
Nvm those ppl are just haters I love every raiden pic
the biggest mistake hoyo was ever decide is to release their game at western market…
you do realize the art was outsourced from non in house artist, right? Then ofc it'd be hated if they cant deliver something that resembles the official art. Also, if such simple art took significant effort and time(pure assumption) then this artist simply isn't experienced enough as it can be done in a more skilled hand within hours. And they should be judged for the subpar quality and inexperience, how else are they gonna get better? When you do work, your work will be evaluated and graded. That's just how society works. Take the criticism and move forward.
But Ei IS cute? Its the shogun thats cold and callous, Ei is actually very sweet!
Cant people just get the fact that birthday posts for characters dont always have to MATCH THEIR LOOKS AND PERSONALITIES FROM THE PAST
Those people need a real life fr
There's criticism, and then there's bullshite yappin. And I haven't see any valid criticism so far.
Maybe because it’s Ei and not the Puppet..?
I'd really like to have concerns of these people, finding problem where there is not any. If I should publically complain, how many times Noelle's birthday seemed mediocre, I probably would make minimumly two posts. But I have decided to just silently grit thing that they made Noelle's promise she spoke about in her letter disappear.
Raiden shogan
As a Raiden simp i think they are just salty because she is soo cute
People when there's a mommy character: 😡😡😡
People when there's a cutie pie character: 😡😡😡
THE ALMIGHTY RAIDEN SHOGUN, AND THE MUSOU NO HITOTACHI ( or whatever the sword is spelt )
I'm Sorry For What I Have To Say But This Reason is Just BS Like Full of BS This Type of People Think They Are Pro At Art & Believing Art is Easy Yeah Easy They Literally Have No Idea How Hard To Do Art Anyway Again Sorry For My Words I Just Hate This Type of People
The serious one is Shogun but Ei is basically a cinnamonroll
I loved the art because Raiden Ei is gentle and much more curious. Not Raiden Shogun who's stoic and very serious.
least chronically online genshin fans
Ok but why they gotta babyfy everyone
Ok but have they met Ei in-game?
Have these people even played the Inazuma Archon quest the Shogun and Ei aren’t the same person 😭! And who the heck is serious on their birthday 😂
Why do I even click on this, knowing too well it just gonna be the same old twitter bulshi
What why? The artist did a a great job on making Ei. The other pics had her being “cutesy” as well. But it’s the genshin and twitter fandom, ofc they’re going to complain and bark abt everything. Great job to the artist if you see this comment! All love to u btw as well ❤❤
Poor artist, hope the artist ok
Genshin players try not to cry about literally anything: Impossible
Yall are so weird bruh
Wonder what’d happen if these people tried to draw her 🤔
i kinda get it theyre just leading her to another side of community cause i love raiden but that face? shes going straight to the hub addicts
because twiter user are conflictive.
Don't give attention to the haters. Lol this is just nitpicking. The art is beautiful.
