  1. I don't do the complete 50 either it feels like such a chore. Pretty much have all I want out of the game to the point where I just don't have to.

Perfect spot in my gaming life to dive back into the Yakuza series.

  2. I usually complete the BP 2 weeks before the patch ends. Sadly I don't buy BP much (to me the cheapest is Welkin usually prefer buying $10 below)

  3. I generally always complete it. But I also have it taking minimal time, even if you don't want to do a lot of the stuff, you can complete it very easily in next to no time. So right off the bat, over the course of 6 weeks, you're over halfway there from the daily section, 27090 xp. You have 23k left at that point to make up. There are certain ones that take like 2 seconds to do, so I'd count those as a given every week too (realm currency, I'm assuming you collect the resin). If you're in there it also is a good idea to make some random furniture which again takes a very brief time. Those 2 alone bring you up 6750. Forging I'd also do every day because crystals and who knows when I need to level another 5 star, and dishes I generally do every week for misc res stuff or monstadt hash browns or some rando healing item. Both of these take very little time.

At this point you're sitting at 38160. So it really depends on what you're doing in addition to that. You're making resin everyday so you're hitting the 1200 cap, and I'm assuming you're farming artifacts with the resin (or leylines for mora). I'm assuming also you're doing enough abyss to get the 12 star reward every bp. This puts you around 47160. At that point if you spend the 500k mora upgrading talents or artifacts, and do a bounty quest, you're at the 50. You could always spend a minute gibbing one of the weekly bosses a few times too. That would get you there.

  4. How I complete battle-pass easily:
    – Dailies and use your resin
    – Weekly: 3 bosses, 20 cooking, 20 blacksmith, get your easy 1k teapot points, do 3 bounties.
    – Monthly: Do Abyss and get some points from events

Only consider buying the battle pass if you really need the weapons featured in it and you can already complete consistently the battle-pass with little effort.
IMPORTANT: Only consider buying it when you reach Bp Lv.50 (you never know when something may happen in real life and you wont be able to finish it).

  5. I just try completing the daily stuff which is easily 45mins of my time. The weekly and monthly criteria I don't even bother looking at because I know that stuff gets completed passively as I play the game. And just by doing that I complete my BP usually a week before the next update.

  6. I dont think I completed the battle pass at all last year and spent most of it not even playing the game. I started playing more hardcore this year so I complete the battle pass. Ironically what made me like the game again is the character everyone hates, Dehya 🤣

  7. there were only 2 or 3 times when I did not complete the battle pass, and I log in once a day as well

sure, it can feel like a chore, except TCG ('cause they are fun) and weekly bosses (since those are needed if I want to have level 8 at least and 10 at most) but seeing level 50 almost 2 weeks before the end of the patch is a bit satisfying

  8. I just complete the battleplass playing normally everyday. I do not do a lot of those things it wants you to do. I just do the things I am going to do anyway and complete the battlepass. I have not hit 50 yet but I will in a few days.

  9. I think after the first 5 months of genshin or so I haven’t done laylines. I mainly get coins/xp books from bp/events/bounties/teapot/etc other than when they have double events. I still have a healthy amount of coin and xp books, although I don’t have every character and I also don’t build every character. I used to be pretty hard core but now I can still miss a few days but I always manage to max the bp by the end of the patch without even trying to.

  11. Yeah i noticed that you still have a ton of chests and Oculi still hanging around as well. Doesn't seem like you systematically attack this game like others. Doesn't surprise me that you don't complete battle passes. Casual is as casual does. You do you bruh. No pressure in this game.

  12. Personally, I want more rewards per tier (both free and paid), and I want 100 tiers. The 3 weeks (usually) at the end of a patch cycle means that’s all the money I have. I usually use resin for artifacts and character level material, though I do occasionally grab some Mora leylines.

  13. i dont anymore because i switch from ps5 to pc to save more space on the ps5 and after 2 and a half years, you still cant buy the battle pass on pc.

  14. I play every day, used up the resin, cooked food, craft enhancement ores, don't really care about the 50 wishes, complete the spiral abyss one, collect teapot coins and craft furniture but skip the visiting other people's teapot and complete events.

TLDR; I complete the battle pass usually a week or two before the patch ends.

  16. I have been getting the battle pass since the 2nd month I've been playing and I've been playing this game since last year, for 2 reasons, I love getting more resources and 2, the resources help me with building more characters down the road coz I'm a content creator too. And while it is tedious for the most part, I feel like it's really worth it for the tons of stuff I can get with the paid version.

  17. I just do what I usually do and it completes itself usually. That being said I might stop buying battlepass in the future because I’ll be playing more gacha games 😅

  18. I recently started finishing the battle pass after my injury and accident since I don’t have much to do now. It’s not out of the way for me because everything I do on the game anyway will get me to 50 with a few days to chill

  19. I guess it just depends on my mood and how much content there is the game. Like if it's a very dry patch then I'm not really bothered to play much

  20. Understandable, on my case, I always feel there's an itch behind my ear when I see my bp weekly xp points is not maxed at 10000xp which eventually leads to a maxed bp at tier 50. Mostly, during the half of the patch. On the side note, the bp also serves as a reminder for me to collect bounties or weeklies (thanks exclamation mark after I do my commissions). Also, I don't buy bp. For reference, I am a two-year player at AR60.

Edit: I am taking things easy as I am currently attending college. Time and energy is limited, but logging in before going to uni and before going to sleep for seven days gets the job done.

  21. My routine is everyday, I do my dailies and expeditions. Mondays, I cook, visit the weaponsmith and my teapot. Over the week I do the three bosses, and over the patch I complete the events. That alone gets to or near 50. If I am in need of domain mats, I just spend the 160 to get that done. It’s bare minimum effort while I’m already playing, never prioritized, and I always hit 50.

  22. Why I Don't Complete My Battle Pass: I hate free resources and I'd rather spend my resin to get them.
The fk am I watching, the IQ of Genshin players keeps plummeting.

  23. I don't even see what to do in the battlepass, I just play the game for around 1 hour daily and those battlepass quests gets completed passively. I already finished the battlepass right now.

  24. Cuz calling this a battle pass is offensive to every other battle pass.
U might as well ignore and still complete it a week before it ends………
Its a trash bp only made to milk players and break in f2p to spend its just that same as welking makes u spend cuz "its only 10 bucks" and than the chance that u will buy more shit skyrockets this is one of the shebang why i shit on egnshin so much.
They made a barebone shit ass bp touched it one time in 3 years GG WP.

I mean it is really just a shit sell the solution to a problem we made garbage if you look at almost any other bp in other popular games its nothing.
The only thing that gave me any exitement in the early game were the bp weapons but now that im 3 years into the game and barely use any of the bp weapons its a scam.
Sure its good shit when u are doing ur midgame AR where u run out of ur early game mats and being hit by the brick wall of gacha gaming where u either pay up or say goodbye to any kind of actual proggresion in decent pace.

  25. I still complete the battle pass, but I don't buy it anymore. As you said, it's overall an excellent value for new players, but as I have so many good weapons now and characters built, there's no point in grabbing the extra resources for me. I'm just a mere Welkin player now and I'm good with that. Overall, Genshin's Battle Pass is surprisingly one of the least predatory and non-FOMO Battle Passes on the market. Only meant for extra resources, a few extra wishes and primos, and the same weapons from the dawn of time. So many other games push cosmetic FOMO in the Battle Passes. I'm glad Genshin doesn't do that with theirs.
