I love Eula, but the reason I don't use her anymore is mainly because I don't have a place for her. In the overworld for example, her burst is kinda useless because everything dies before the thing even goes off (it's overkill). & if I try her in the Abyss… yeah no, mine is C0, I'm not even going to bother trying that. 😅
Eula waiting has only become a thing because it’s been so long. It’s a meme.
If Eula had been on the banners regularly most would deem it an easy skip and forget about it apart from the diehard Eula fans and aesthetic appreciators
Eula is one of my favourite characters, but I haven't used her in Spiral Abyss for nearly a year.
The problem is that she gets shut down hard by any mobs with elemental shields, and Mihoyo has been throwing them into every SA recently.

When it comes to genshin Hoyo is ALL ABOUT MONEY period.
Why would they put a character up for 20+ days rerun just to make Hoyo couple hundred dollars..
Hoyo wants to rerun the characters that makes them Millions.. so doesn't surprise me that she didn't get an earlier rerun.

dude you really need to keep up with the leaks, she's been set to return in 3.8 since 3.4, everybody at the genshin leaks subreddit knows this, watch this video age like milk in a lil over a month. I can tell you rn shes on phase 1 of 3.8 alongside klee, and kokomi is on phase 2 with wanderer, there's a story and a plot and everything…🙄

I've had Eula built up and combat ready since her first appearance. As much as I love her design and character, I struggle to actually use her over any number of infinitely more easily usable characters. Missing her burst feels MISERABLE. Also I'm so sick of Dendro meta, man.
Its sad that to the nature of the game being gatcha you have to plan your investment and budget accordingly (similar to real life) and be looking for future character kit leaks to make the most cost effective choice. To make it worse Hoyoverse does not even buff characters due to them being a product sold by gatcha.
This Eula hype will just make it happen next patch i think, it depends on hoyo when the right time to reap a killing…and they’ll probably make even more money at it if they throw in a new cool skin for her too lol…
I love Eula but does it even matter? They still haven't though of a good fix for physical teams yet so 🤷🏽 she'll end up on allot of accounts and just sit there like she does now
I used to main Eula + Raiden in my 3rd account but i somehow abandoned that account. Only opening it every Stellar Reunion 😅 I just wish her Ult doesn't need to be stacked and can explode upon trigger.
I want a Eula rerun so i can save my primos for that patch.

it’s such a shame because Mihoyo has a done a great job implementing physical in the predecessor & alternate universe game, Honkai Impact. It’s fully within their abilities to make physical DPS, physical supports, and physical reactions.

As a Eula main triple-crowned c1, I suggest you to skip her just because of the meta. I swaped her with my c0 Yelan & alhaitam
Ways to fix Eula
1. Make physical damage break shield easily.
2. Make her E-skill suck/stun enemies or change it to a Raiden E style for aoe
3. Release a character & artifact set tailored to support physical shredding.
4. Make her burst deal damage overtime before it explode.
C6 eula r1 broken pines, but i prefer to use beacon of the reed sea for 100 crit rate.
Even then, I barely ever use her in Spiral Abyss or even in the overworld….physical needs a buff and her Q needs some reworking. It needs to be a larger aoe (arena) size…that would help alot.
Sometimes I feel a bit uncomfortable when Walrus presumes that if you played Genshin at launch you've quit by now. Anyway, I picked up Eula during her first rerun banner way back when and I used her a lot. I still think she's fun, but I do play other characters more these days. Not just dendro characters either. I would say I play Eula more than any geo (not including Zhongli and his big-big shield).
At this point, hoyo not rerunning her is not because they can't, but because they want to make fun of peoples who really want her and gonna pull her, and peoples like walruss who overthinking everytime hoyo not rerunning Eula.

I think what physical needs is some kind of nilou-like character that will modify superconduct so long as certain conditions are met. like, if the party is all cryo/electro units, triggering superconduct results in physical dmg bonus, def shred, and increased superconduct dmg based on said characters max em or atk or whatever

Good video but you only look at her lack of a rerun from the meta perspective. The MAIN reason hoyoverse hasn't rerun her is for the FOMO factor. They are using Eula as an example to players, making them scared to miss out on pulling for their fav character in case they don't get rerun again like Eula for a year and 5+ months. They did the same thing with fan favorite and powerful character Hu Tao, now Eula is just sending a message that you'd better top up those crystals or your waifu could be gone for a year and a half. It's a shady scare tactic that works and Eula is the sacrificial scapegoat. I also predict that Eula's banner will sell better than you think. A majority of genshin players are casual and on the newer side. They pull for waifu over meta and Eula is seen as a rare unit now.
I've never been a Eula wanter BUT i have a friend who has been and I've always been a Geo lover so I have a semblance for Physical Dmg Likers' pain lmao
I wish Geo interacted with Dendro in some context or Crystalize Shields even scaled off Defense some how, or even Geo could help take down things like Fatui Harbinger's shields but alas…..Phys and Geo are 2 highkey dead weight things that have units that great (itto, Eula, Zhongli etc) that are great DESPITE their element, not because of it
meanwhile characters like Ganyu, Ayaka, Hu Tao, Yelan, Nahida etc are all great BECAUSE of what their element provides

Me who actually reruns abyss multiple times because it's fun got confused there. Tbh, if Eula becomes the last physical carry to get ever released, that would still be amazing.

They should just add her to the regular banner so people can stop asking for her and carry on. Or make a 3rd banner with niche characters
Physical doesn't sell, it just needs good support, but Mika failed and they couldn't be bothered to playtest Mika.
