Oh I really hate when people just prioritise crit stats the most. Their neuvillette can have a 70/300 ratio but only have 22k and ppl will say it’s good like ??? Atk/HP, EM, energy recharge allows more raw dmg and smoother rotations and yet people just like seeing high crit ratios
Maaan Ive had this happen. Tried to get advice on which weapon to put on my Klee for a Burgeon build I madez but I just got yelled at for not doing meta stuff or even caring about Klee at all. I just play her cause she's adorbs

I think its pretty hard to give a fair judgement to every build. Like, you dont know with what teammates(and weapons) the char is ran with, you dont know what enemies we are talking about, you dont know how the player plays those characters etc. The closest to what we ever got to has been crit ratio. Which even that doesnt actually tell to a player asking for advice the whole story. So overall, as long as the reviewer is fair and the reviewee accepts fair criticism, things will go well

Thats truueee all they care about are crit crit and crit and disregard stats like elemental mastery,energy recharge,and attack while those thing are VERY crucial
Yeah I asked whether I should keep my 15 Crit rate electro goblet on my Keqing with 78/261 with 1800 atk and 70 EM in a 1K EM Nahida aggravate and I was told that I needed an EM sands instead of atk and my goblet was extremely bad and needed to be switched immediately
When I look at a character's build, I see what they uses and if they have the minimum requirements to do decent damage, but I need to look at the team they run to see what is more valuable stats to have. Sometimes your team might be mano pyro so your Xiangling needs less er and em and more crit but a national team needs more er and em to keep up with the burst rotation and if they run solo Xiangling I need to know who's running fav weapons so to not lose damage on Xiangling.
Idk how many others do this but when looking at a build, I tend to ask how the player uses the character and look at ar level which tells me roughly how long they may have been farming artifacts. All this combined tells how good the build is.
Example. Friend shows me a kazuha. Most of us would look purely at em then ER and judge. Meanwhile this person wants to run DPS Kazu and has ok crit with still having some em and er.
Another ez example DPS Yanfei, vs sub DPS Yanfei vs tankfei
I seen 40/300 Ayaka and people said it was good. No er (burst per Ayakas banner) and attack below 1500 (no dmg). I currently have 1900 and even that is low, the reason i dont use her anymore, i prefer other characters.
I ussed to watch a dude's lives and he did some pretty great reviews!! It makes some time so my build is significantly better now, but I don't really remember his advice 😢
I once let a streamer review my account. After he saw my teapot he said he found a reason why my builds are bad 💀💀 my acc improved a lot since then but damn. I stopped watching him after that
That's true most reviews are for most average build I've seen and they call it great like wtf
