Well, 4.5 is almost over, and now we’re just waiting for the upcoming characters in the next patches. The plans for the upcoming banners in Genshin Impact have changed quite a bit, especially with the new characters leaked not long ago. Honestly, we already knew about these characters; we just didn’t know which patch they would be featured in. Anyway, I wanted to give you a quick heads up so you can plan your pulls with the limited primogems we’ll be getting. Hopefully, you’ll have enough primogems for your favorite characters. And as always, before we start, here’s a calendar for you if you’re curious about when each patch is dropping. Keep in mind that the dates might change based on whether miHoYo decides to delay or shorten a patch. I always say this because miHoYo might just surprise us. You never know.

We already know the new character who will be featured in version 4.6. So let’s start with version 4.7. As per a reliable leaker, Fullstopchan, Version 4.7 is expected to bring in three fresh faces. Clorinde, Sigewinne, and Sethos. Clorinde is rumored to be a 5-star Electro sword character, set to debut as a DPS unit centered on the Overload elemental reaction, blending Pyro and Electro elements. She wouldn’t be Fontaine’s first character to use this under-utilized reaction, as the 4.3 four-star character Chevreuse also making use of this mechanic.

Sethos made an appearance in the Version 4.6 Trailer, notably interacting and confronting cyno in a Rite of Duels. This is probably because of their link to the Temple of Silence and the ancient god Hermanubis, who, in turn, is connected to cyno’s power. Sethos is rumored to possess an Electro Vision in Genshin Impact, similar to cyno. Though not confirmed, his Electro vision is apparent in the short clip showcased during the version 4.6 livestream. Sethos is also rumored to be a 4-star character in Genshin Impact. This has not been confirmed yet, but it should be in the coming days.

Although the developer hasn’t officially confirmed Sigewinne as a playable character, they’ve subtly hinted at her Vision. In the character’s in-game model as an NPC, players can see a Hydro Vision hanging from Sigewinne’s back, confirming she’ll use the Hydro element when playable. It’s highly unlikely her Vision will change before release. Any alteration would require significant changes in story missions. We still don’t know her rarity or weapon type, but In the Archon Quests introduced in Version 4.1, Sigewinne is seen shooting a dart at Lyney with what appears to be a toy gun. This could potentially be her signature bow-like weapon. it’s good to be skeptical about her though, since her rarity or weapon type might change. you can expect the version 4.7 to go live on june 5th.

In the upcoming Version 4.8, the final Fontaine patch, we might see the introduction of two new characters and a new limited map, possibly resembling the Golden Apple Archipelago. This version could also bring some fresh skins. One of the characters, known only as Mummy Girl, alongside Dahlia, 4-star characters, are still wrapped in mystery, with only their names known. Hopefully, we’ll uncover more details about them soon. initially, we thought emilie will be a playable character in this version, but was later revealed that she won’t be a playable character till the release of Natlan.
