Hey everyone! Today, we’ll go over everything expected in 51, including updated banner news, free rewards, primo count, banner details, and much more.

By now, most of you probably know that Mavuika will be temporarily playable in the 5.1 quest. While we’ll be able to control her, her abilities will be automatic, meaning attacks happen without player input. Although some details of her kit have been shared, she’s slated for an official release in 5.3, so nothing is fully confirmed yet.

As for the free rewards, they’re somewhat limited in 5.1 since there isn’t a new map expansion. The main event is set in Sumeru, with various rewards like talent level-up books tied to that region. We’ll also get the Sabzeruz Festival. We’ll get a free Candace from this event!

As for the banners, not much has changed since the initial leaks. According to reports, the first half should feature Xilonen and Chiori, with the second half being Nahida and Hu Tao. This news comes from Hakush, but as always, take it with a grain of salt. Xilonen is an incredible support character, especially if you get her C2. I’ll be going for a c0 Xilonen, what about you?

We’re also expecting the return of the Chronicled Wish Banner in 5.3. This banner could feature characters like Ganyu, Xiao, Baizhu.

There’s also been some confusion about when the Natlan arc will end. Some sources said 5.7 would be the final version, but a Genshin article mentioned 5.8, so maybe it’ll go up to 5.8.

As for future character releases, there’s speculation about Chasca and Wanderer in 5.2, and Mavuika and possibly Madame Ping in 5.3.

Overall, we’ll be getting over 10,000 primos in 5.1, totalling up to 63 pulls for free to play players, and 89 pulls if you have the welkin. This is a lot considering there won’t be a new map expansion, definitely more generous than some previous versions. What do you think, should Hoyo be more generous?
