UPCOMING NEW CHARACTERS!! MADAME PING, IANSAN, IFA, CAPITANO & MORE –
We’re getting Mavuika, Citlali, and a new 4-star character called Lan Yan in the next update. I’m mentioning this because Lan Yan is not Madame Ping, and it’s confirmed now. This means there’s still a chance that Madame Ping will be playable in version 5.4. I know how it sounds, but it’s true. Back in version 5.1, the dataminers said that Madame Ping would not be released in version 5.3 during the Lantern Rite Festival. Instead, she will be released in the version 5.4 update, and like the next 5.3 update, she will not be the only 5-star character released in that patch. We’ll get another female 4-star character in the 5.4 update, and she’s from Inazuma. As to how they will release Madame Ping, I still have no idea. But they’ll most likely release her in the same way they released Baizhu.

He was released in version 3.6 without any special event or new areas. We did get some new areas in Sumeru, though. Similarly, we will get some new areas of Natlan in version 5.4. So, they’ll likely release her with her own story quest—that is, if she’s released. As for the 4-star character, her name is Kimitsuki Ayano. And I don’t know why, but she sounds like she’s Ayato’s relative or something. We don’t know anything else about her at the moment, so let’s move on to version 5.5 and future patches.

Now, before I say anything, I want to remind you that we don’t know the exact release dates of the characters I’m going to mention next. So, this is pure speculation based on past trends and is subject to change. We have only received 8 characters from Natlan so far, including Mavuika and Citlali, so we’ll definitely get 2 or 3 more characters from Natlan. Iansan and Ifa have been confirmed to be playable in future patches; however, their release dates are still unconfirmed. Now, we’ve still got one tribe left, and that is Iansan’s Collective of the Plenty tribe.

Based on the info from Uteyvat, who first said that we won’t get any new areas in 5.3, Hoyoverse will add more areas in version 5.4 or later. So, Iansan will surely be released in the same patch when her tribe is released. We always get new areas in every X.6 patch, so I’m assuming that 5.6 will be the same, and that’s when Iansan will be released. As for version 5.5, we might not get any new 5-star characters. Or there’s a good chance that Ifa will be released in version 5.5, just like Chiori was released in version 4.5. Regarding Ifa, he’s definitely a male character. His vision and weapon type are unknown at the moment, as well as his model type.

What I’m trying to say is that we always get 2 tall male characters in every region. We got Ororon in the current patch, and there’s one more to go. So, it will either be Ifa or Capitano. This leads us to our next character, Capitano. I know what you’re thinking. A few months ago, some sources said that he wouldn’t be playable in Natlan, but they also confirmed that he would be playable.

I mean, there’s no way Hoyoverse would want to miss out on this huge opportunity. He’s perhaps the most popular character from Natlan, so his banner will sell like crazy. Plus, the good Harbingers are always playable, and he’s helped Natlan a lot. So, yeah, he might be released when the second weekly boss of Natlan is unlocked, which will most likely be Capitano himself. As for his release date, again, we don’t know yet, so we’ll have to wait for some more time.
