  1. Swirl and infusion is pretty powerful as I went through floor 12 with just 4 man team. Sayu and XL, Sucrose and XQ. I dont think I could do that with any other 4 man team in the game right now with 3 stars on each floor

  2. i think you failed to mention the most important part of anemo which is the order it chooses what it infuses, aka PHEC. a core part of anemo is that you know what you're infusing because the game chooses Pyro > Hydro > Electro > Cryo.

  3. Sucrose is the best low investment character to buff your elemental damage. Don’t have to level her talents. Level her to 60, throw 4 piece viridescent set, with thrilling tales of dragon slayer weapon on her and she’ll almost double all your elemental damage. She carried me through early to late game. Forever grateful for her. Had to replace her with Sayu tho. Sayu e skill and Raiden e skill saves time not having to swap characters as much to get that elemental de buff.

  4. Appreciate that you try to explain swirl, which is quite complicated! However, you state many wrong facts.

You can only damage an enemy twice per element per swirl. That means that even if there were a group of 5 enemies affected by pyro, they'd only take pyro swirl damage twice. The only exception is hydro, which for some reason only damages once, though the hydro does spread.

You can swirl two elements at once in cases such as electro-charged or freeze (in some cases). For example, you would swirl both electro and hydro if the enemy was affected by electro charged.

While it can sometimes be hard to infuse the element you want, you can actually predict which will because there's an infusion priority, which is: pyro > hydro > electro > cryo. The only exception to this is anemo mc.

Venti's ult, does not swirl with every tick due to icd. Its still broken though. But I don't think Xiangling's pyronado can reliably hit enemies lifted by his burst.

The VV set doesn't decrease the elemental resistance by 60% – its 40%. Swirl damage is increased by 60%. Also, the resistance shred can only happen if the character swirls on field.

Something else that's a bit iffy: infusing an ult like Sucrose's with cryo and then melting with a skill like Xiangling's pyronado might not work because the pyronado might overtake the cryo application, resulting in the cryo infusion reverse melting as opposed to the melting with pyro. (I'm not completely sure about this though).

Hope these can help people, and if I got anything wrong, please let me know!

A last note: the drawing was very cute!

  5. I’ve always wondered about reactions. If I proc the viridescent set by swirling hydro then proceed to do a vaporize reaction with pyro, will the vaporize reaction benefit from the 60% resistance shred?

  6. 5:11, in theory this should be what happen, but in reality the maximum amount of swirl damage 1 hilichurl can take in this scenario is 2 instances (I believe this is independent for each elements).

So despite having 5 hilichurl together and swirling all of them, each of them will only receive 2 ticks of the swirled element damage which means 2 pyro numbers. You can verify this by looking at your video at 4:39. The sucrose swirled 4 cryo infused hilichurl, but for accuracy sake, let's only look at the right 3 hilichurls.

Now there are 3 cryo infused hilichurl there getting swirled, and yet the right most hilichurl only take 2 instances of cryo damage, this is what I meant.

  7. Swirl doesn't work like Ganyu's burst. An enemy can only be damaged twice at the same time with it for one element (5 hilichurls getting cryo swirled will one do 2 cryo hits on each). That said, idk if that's how it works with multiple elements, haven't tested that yet

  8. What I would really like to understand is in elemental reactions which character's stats effects what damage. For example, when Yoimiya buffed with Eye of Stormy Judgement causes overload reaction with her kindling arrows, whose stats are effecting the overload, Yoimiya's or Ei's?
