overall, this basically change nothing, so i never thought much about it.
but it appear that people are confuse what exactly is changed, or “nerfed” as many people would say, so i figure i would make a video covering it.

maybe I'm tunnel visioning on one aspect too much but it seems like for the sucrose case in particular, this wouldn't matter at all anymore with her c1 because then you could just swap sucrose back in the middle of the oz duration to refresh the buff
but yeah as you said it probably doesn't matter
all of this because of ELLEGY OF VENTi bow.. sigh, so Venti can get the benefit when casting Burst and trigger the buff..
I guess I can just keep using Sucrose as carry, and finally make her go last in my swap cycles.
Another great content, keep the good work. It's rare to find a channel with great quality content, mostly it's full of clickbait and useless thing or a thing that people already know.
I don't think this is a nerf. Only people who always perfectly timed their skills and switches will be affected (which sounds pretty tedious). Everyone else who just uses skills on CD to dish out damage and regen energy will see this as an QoL change since you don't have to pay attention to perfect casting and character switching orders. It'll actually increase damage for people who didn't bother with that stuff since you can still just spam your skills and switch randomly through your characters without having to worry if the EM boost actually applied or not.

Kind of annoying having some buffs that snapshot and some buffs that don't. They should have streamlined this change or not made it at all.

Well, I dont think its much of a nerf. It improves rotations.
Lets say we run a fireworks comp. Beidou, Fischl, Sucrose, XQ
Before, you had to first somehow apply electro to enemies, then swirl, then go back and cast skills.
Now you can cast all of the skills, swirl, and start doing dmg.
The loss of snapshotting does decrease sustained dps, but smoother rotations are better in my opinion
So instead of new and more challenging enemies they’re just making the heroes/champs less effective/powerful
Players : Buff Electro
Mihoyo : Nerf

The priority on pyro is getting absolutely ridiculous. It always was the strongest element and every change just benefited it or weakend the other elements.
Just remove electro entirely. Make Oz pyro and Beidous Shield Hydro or something.
Have everything goes thermobaric deletion with Klee + Sucrose

transformative reactions are already weak enough mihoyo now even nerfed them even further. Guess u cant expect balanced power in a game like this.

Good thing my Fireworks Childe doesn't use Sucrose.
Guess it doesn't really effect my Ganyu or Diluc either way either.

Considering I was running Fischl with my Diluc and Xingqiu, that does put a damper on my turbo. Sucrose seems like she'd be a better sub now though? Maybe Zhongli if I pull off a miracle on the next banner.
